    • Good Back-up hearing aid
It work for my Stepdad. It's not a prescription fitted hearing aid so don't expect it to not have its flaws, however, it does a pretty good job. My parents recently visited me for a week and my Stepdad left his hearing aid at home. I ordered this as soon as they told me and it arrived in a couple days. He was able to have normal conversations, listen to TV at lower than normal levels. The fit didn't bother him much, he even wore it out in public without any reservations. It's bigger than a prescription inner-ear hearing aid, but it is not gaudy, nor does it draw attention. The only drawback is the battery life. I think 10 hours is about the max before needing to change. My Stepdad said that it does give a notice when the battery is low. ... show more

    • The (1) Battery provided lasted about 2 hours maybe.
I thought I’d like it because it was a B&H, even though it wasn’t expensive. The size is fine, the sound okay, but I’m having a problem finding a replacement Battery. Needless to say, this Amplifier has been used only twice since the Battery that came with it wasn’t very good, as mentioned above.

Initially thought this was a good buy, I like the size of it. Hate the constant static in it.

Ok sound has a little bit of fuzz noise in it no way to put it on charge have to replace battery when it goes dead

Looks like battery exploded or damaged either prior to shipping or during. When I opened the package, I took out the read first safety and the instructions and both had brown places which resembled burn markings. I contactedboth amazon and the manufacturer and they (manufacturer) said it should be safe to use as it probably got wet. How can the inside get wet if it's totally sealed and you have to cut the hard plastic around it to even get to it??? Nope not sure it's safe and not going to try it. Waste of money and can't return them or will they (purchased 2) be replaced. Hope the pictures will explain and be a caution to others. Don't want to put this in my ear. Wet or not it's not anything I trust. Don't get wet something else is wrong with it. ... show more
