This is a Belkin product so you can pretty much guarantee you're going to pay a little too much for it but it's going to work. I'm not sure who is putting these categories up here for these products but volume control it it doesn't have any kind of attenuation knob or feature offered or included so not really something that should be included in its rating therefore it gets five stars but I would buy it again for sure. If you look other manufacturers offerings if the first words you see are aluminum construction move on because I'm here to tell you the wires aren't aluminum and the connection points aren't aluminum or indestructible so why do you need the casing of a product to be metal if the rest of its garbage contained within, that's not this product this product is a good product ... show more

(Update) I have done everything required to get warranty service on this from Belkin, but they are MIA. Do not put any value on these warranty claims as it is just a sales ploy. Once you reach out to the company they go silent, and never communicate with you. 2 year warranty from Belkin means NOTHING. Four months of use, it dies, and they ignore you. Spend your good, hard earned money elsewhere. If a company doesn't care about your business, then take your business elsewhere. 0/5 Stars This was purchased on September 15, 2023, and it is dead in January of 2024. I dont know what went wrong since there is no smell of electrical fire, nothing has burned, nothing sparked, there is no visible or discernible physical damage to the product. It just no longer works It says Belkin has a 2 year warranty on this product - we'll see how accurate that is. I use these nightly to charge and drive a pair of sleeping earbuds to listen to audio books and music. Only issue I have had is that after a reboot of the iPad I have to unplug then plug it back in for the iPad to use it for default audio. It's not too inconvenient. In the end the sound is great and totally transparent. The charging is perfect. Anyone with an iPad that they need to charge and listen to audio needs one of these. It was great for about a week, then it failed. This is not the first one of these types of items that I've had fail very quickly. I thought Belkin would be more reliable, but it was a disappointment. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Supposedly reliable manufacturer.
