Overall, the I love my belkin mount. Its great and easy to install as a magsafe car mount. I just wish the magnets were a tad bit stronger as it will occasionally bounce a phone loose. Otherwise, it works great and is super easy to find a way to mount your phone quicly.

It does what it does. My only issue is you cannot loosen or tighten the grip on the vent. My car vents are thick and this unit is hard to get attached. Would be better if it were adjustable

First, some background on what I drive, where I drive, and how I drive: I effectively drive the equivalent of an ox-cart on the Oregon Trail. More specifically, I drive a Ford F-350 Super Duty, and I drive on rough dirt roads all over Colorado. I have the snow plow/camper package, which makes the springs in the front more stiff. I keep my tires, front and back, inflated to the recommended PSI from Ford, which is suitable for hauling the max payload of 3,500 lbs. So, when I have a bunch of weight on the truck, like my truck camper, that I don't have anymore, the ride is nice and smooth. But when I don't, which is most of the time, it bounces around like an ox-cart. My dental bill costs more than my truck. Thanks, Ford! Many of the roads that I drive on scare your average Jeep Wrangle owner. I use my locking rear diff. Yesterday, my trailer hitch served better as a boat anchor in a mud crossing than a trailer hitch. I push the truck's limits on these dirt roads and I drive fast. Sometimes my water bottles fly out of the drink holders. I have hit the front bump stops, on the heavy service front springs, on at least a dozen occasions. My legs have been bruised from bouncing off of the door and the center console for hours at a time. When I hit washboarded road, I step on the gas. If I brought a bottle of cream with me, it would turn to butter. Now, you think I might be joking about all the things listed above, but I am not. This is what I drive, and this is how I drive. I am literally the worst case scenario for a vent mounted magnetic phone holder. Now that you know some background, I can write my review: This vent mounted magnetic iPhone charger is the best one out there. It holds onto my phone, and it hold onto my vent, better than any other vent mount phone holder I have used in the past 20 years. In fact, much to my surprise, my phone has never fallen off of the mount, and the mount has never fallen off of the vent. Completely worth the high price. The media could not be loaded. After being tired of holding my phone in my lap while I drove, I looked for a solution in this phone holder. Pros: 1. The price was great, better than comparable ones I’ve seen around. 2. The MagSafe magnet is very strong, as you can see in my video once the phone attaches it is very secure. 3. The actual clip that attaches to your AC vent is tough as they come, so tough you may have to put some strength into getting it off. 4. I love that it easily rotates and it’s also aesthetically pleasing. Cons: None I’ve found. Final Thoughts: Ok so my own little rating system is the following: Buy, Wait for a sale, or Skip. This one is a BUY! I love the strength of the clip and for the price you can’t go wrong. I opened for just the mount at my car requires a cable connection so the one that charges wouldn’t be ideal. I have vertical vents in my vehicle and read through many reviews before buying this one. At first I didn’t think I was going to be able to make this work with my vents, but I turned the attachment piece and it worked just fine. I will say the magnet is very strong! However, there have been multiple times (while driving) where the mount starts to slip and then completely detaches from the vent resulting in both the weight of the phone and the mount to fall on my foot. And we all know how it goes when you’ve dropped something on your foot/toes. Other than that, I love it. I bought this phone holder because I drive a lot for work. It’s not a huge eye sore which I like. The magnet is great, I think it’s only fallen off once. Can be a bit tricky to take off, but you get the hang of it after some time. Only giving it a 4 star because my vents move (so the holder moves) I had to keep my vent blowing in one direction for it to work. Can be a bit annoying. ... show more
