An absolute great piece of hardware. I basically have the famous prophet syth for a fraction of the cost. Polyphonic synth with amazing sounds!!! Behringer has really stepped up their game with this!!

Sounds very lush and nostalgic. If you've always wanted that prophet sound without breaking the bank then this is your go to! This is a great overall tool to learn synthesis with. If you learn the menus you can really open up the synth or use swumpf editor in chrome to easily patch some sounds.

    • Didn't work right out of the box
Not a great experience. Right out of the box, the unit refused to produce any sound. I thought I was going insane hooking it up all three ways the manual suggested and not hearing anything but noise. While I was downloading the app to update the firmware, I noticed the screen started glitching out. The buttons then became non-responsive. Powered it on and off and it returned to normal. The app finished downloading and the unit was not recognized no matter what I did. I tried several different USB cables and nothing worked. After about two hours of troubleshooting, I came across a thread where someone else had the same issues. I assume they ended up returning it as well. All this to say that I think the quality control on these units is maybe not the best. I've owned various Behringer synths in the past, but have had no issues with them. This was my first desktop module. The videos of this thing producing sound are glorious, but be wary if you order one for yourself. ... show more

    • Great sounding synth for the money.
Sounds great, a real bargain. There is a bit of menu diving for the advanced features but it's not too bad.

    • Beware gremlins inside!
Unit started flaking out after less than two weeks use. Started producing a rapid modulation sound on all presets, even after doing factory resets. Too bad, it had great potential, nice features and great sound. Returned it. I was hoping Behringer had actually created something of quality for a change. Build seems solid enough. That was my last purchase from this brand. ... show more
