Six different modulation effects in one pedal. Chorus: This effect slightly detunes the original signal. A very pleasant detune effect is created in connection with the pitch variation. Flanger: Originally, the flanger effect was generated with two tape recorders running synchronously. The same audio signal was recorded on both machines. If you put a finger on the left spool of one of the machines, the spool and the playback speed are slowed down. The generated delay results in phase shifting of the signals. Phaser: With the phaser, a second, phase-shifted signal is added to the original audio signal. The resulting sound is thicker and above all livelier. Pitch Shifter: The pitch shifter slightly detunes the audio signal. Tremolo: The tremolo effect is achieved by periodic modulation of the input signal level. This results in a continuous change from low to high level that lends a quivering, tremulous sound character. Delay: A delay of the input signal with various repetitions. Simple Operation Just select one of the six effects with the dedicated FX knob, and then use the two parameter dials to fine-tune the effect. The LEVEL control determines how much of the effect is mixed with the original signal. Dependable Operation The bright LED tells you when the FX600 is activated, and the first-class on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity in bypass mode. And you get flexible powering as well--power the DD400 with a 9 V battery or a DC power adapter (not included). What's in the Box Behringer FX600 Pedal, User's Manual

  • This is SUCH a value!
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive when it came to purchasing this product, The price factor just seemed to be too good to be true. But I must say this little bugger does everything it says it's gonna do to a fairly high quality level. I am a career musician and my effects loop has been acting a little quirky lately, so I purchased this unit to go along with the few analog pedals that I use when I don't want to rely on a rack system. The flanger has SUCH an outstanding overall tone that I would have purchased the unit just for this effect. The chorus gets nice and syrupy at high levels while still retaining your overall tone. And I should say with ALL of the effects, the levels stay consistent no matter how much effect mix you are using. The Phaser works great, but is not very strong or defined. But for 29.00 ...... it's STILL worth the money. The delay as well sounds great. The delay does not have a very long time (I'm guessing 450 ms), but is more than adequate for most situations. The tremolo is very warm for a digital unit, and provides that great helicopter tremolo with EASE. The pitch shifter was really unique. It is not a smart harmonizer by any means, but it provided anywhere from an octave below to an octave higher with ANY semitone in between selectable!!! For $30!!! I must say this was a good buy. The effects are transparent and don't mask your tone. Behringer hits one out of the park again, and Amazon's support is as always immaculate. I am very satisfied. ... show more

  • Good space saving multi- modulation
The FX600 is a good bang for the buck solution when needing multiple effects with limited pedalboard space. Tremolo is very good, as are phaser & flanger. Delay is okay but I'm only using the trem and phaser. The adjustment knobs are solid and cover the basic parameters for each effect. Only nick is the chorus sounds too "phasey", probably because it sits between the phaser & flanger. I'm using the Mooer pitch shifter as my chorus instead. ... show more

  • It has good effects, you have two knobs to control the ...
The pros: It works. It has good effects, you have two knobs to control the intensity and frequency of the effect which is nice. The range however is in line for the price. You don't have too much range, but for $30 I'm happy. The cons: You have to have a 9V battery in the pedal regardless of having the DC power supply hooked up or not. It doesn't matter if the battery is dead or brand new, it just needs to be in there. When I tried to put the battery in, the foot pedal wouldn't go back into place. The guide and spring for the button are not easy to put back. I can fit my finger in there to press the button, but I would much rather have a push petal. Lastly, if you do get the DC power supply, it doesn't stick all the way in. It is a cause of concern for me, but I make sure to leave it away from anything that can catch fire. Overall, for the price, it's worth it. Just not the best craftsmanship. ... show more

  • I'm sold on the performance of Behringer!
I am an advanced guitar player. I know what sounds good to my ears. I ordered one of these Behringer Multi-Fx pedals because it is very cheap in price and I have had great experiences with their other products. Plastic and rivets on not, this is another product I am very happy with. No, I didn't expect this pedal to do the effects of expensive individual pedals, that being said, I am more than pleased with what it does. The tremolo is great, delay is good, phaser, chorus and flanger are very useable with some twiking. Playing with all of the perimeters will certainly pay off. Other's reviewers have commented on the web how that the pitch shifter makes the pedal worth the price alone, and I have to agree. I absolutely love the sound I'm getting with the pitch shifter. I get a wonderful nearly spot on rich effect for the opening of Hotel California, but on electric guitar. Forget using batteries and use an adapter so you won't have to strike off points needlessly for this wonderful little device. I have a Behringer wah pedal coming now. I figure if I'm really careful with plastic petals and don't throw them around the room or stomp on them violently, these pedals should last awhile. By the way, I also have a Behringer acoustic amp, a volume pedal, a heavy metal pedal and a tube amp made by them called Burgera V-22 infininium and all of these products are A-1. No one paid me to say these things. I'm simply sold on Behringer products because you won't beat their prices for the sound quality you are getting. ... show more

  • Ultimate digital multi-effects pedal is correct!
Wow. I'm getting a couple more of these! Pitch shifter is worth the price of admission alone. All the effects sound great, other multi effects pedals I've tried have a drop in volume when engaged. Not this! The FX knob doesn't click, not a complaint just an observation. I'm no beginner, been playing since 1985. This will be a part of my effects board, likely permanently. I'm getting at least one or two more, have them set to different effects and not have to reach and change settings. All sound great. Not just for beginners...amazing value! Behringer scores again! ... show more

  • Great value for bedroom guitarists
The media could not be loaded. All the criticisms for these pedals are well known: They are cheap because they are made out of cheap parts. One parameter knob crackles when I adjust it and the foot pedal that hides the battery looks like it's destined to pop off eventually. I would not use this for any serious performance. For informal tinkering and jamming alone, especially if you're more likely to reach over and tap the pedal with your hand vs stomp on it, it's perfectly fine. The guitar used in the video is a made in Mexico Fender from the 90s and Fender tube amp. The recording from my phone sounds worse than it does in real life but it will give you an idea of what the pedal is like ... show more
