This is a perfect purse for someone wanting a low profile, handsome accessory that's built to last. Materials: The leather used is of very good quality, even grain and thick enough to withstand a lot of use (as determined by zipper pull and strap center cut edges). The hardware is also high quality, the swivel clicks precisely made with solid springs and smooth swiveling. The zippers are all metal - with potential to snag delicate fabrics, but easily remedied by carrying zipper side out. The fabric lining is solid and well thought out. The interfacing used to stiffen the fabric of the card holding area is just right, providing adequate support without feeling bulky or excessively stiff. Design: I give the design a solid A rating. I feel like I want something slightly different from the edge profile, somewhere between the single and the double for width, but as a purse designed to be lightweight and low-profile, this purse has been excellently thought out. The omission of a prominent label earns this purse big points in my eyes, as it is much easier to use it with either side facing out and it pairs much more nicely with sleek, understated pieces. Good style doesn't need to shout about who made it, or should be impressive enough to warrant people asking after the brand. This purse does the trick. Storage/packaging/shipping: This is the only arena in which I could see improvement. The straps were nicely folded and stored inside the purse, but because of its thin profile the strap hardware ended up forming a visible bump through the leather, presumably thanks to the weight of items stored atop it pressing the leather against the metal. This is slightly visible in the second picture, with the purse vertically oriented, the bulge located in the lower right-hand corner. Similarly, the leather of the bottom edge of the purse was bent quite a bit during storage. My hope is the leather will relax during use and these two marks will even out over time, especially when the purse is full. Perhaps in the case of these low-profile purses, it would be better to store the straps outside of the purse itself in the same packaging bag, so as to avoid deforming the leather. These notes aren't worth detracting any stars in my review, as this is a problem faced by any retailer anywhere, and I've often seen far worse being sold for far more. The packaging for shipping was quite adequate. While it would be nice to see environmentally friendly/recycled/recyclable packaging, what was there does enough without using excessive amounts of material or space. ... show more

Ever since purchasing my BIG iPhone 6s Plus, I have been on the hunt for a way to comfortably carry it when I did not want to carry my big purse. I have back trouble and for times when I needed to walk long distances (like an outdoor art show) and was unable to carry my regular purse, an added plus would be to find something that had just a little extra room for credit cards and money. Another requirement for me, or at least a strong preference, was for genuine full grain leather. I wanted something that would be attractive, easy to carry, durable and functional. Of course, I also figured that if I ever found this elusive product, it would cost me a small fortune. So I looked in stores, I searched through leather booths at art shows, kept my eyes open for something that would work every time we traveled to other places, always on the lookout for my special phone bag. Then one day I decided to look on Amazon… and that is how I found this one. I couldn’t believe the price for something that was suppose to be top grain leather. But I read the description, read the reviews, viewed the pictures and decided to try it. It seemed too perfect and I was prepared for disappointment. Imagine my surprise and delight when my red beauty arrived and I realized it was everything it was advertised to be! At least for me, this was the perfect solution to my dilemma. I was immediately struck by the high quality exhibited in the craftsmanship of this bag. The stitching was straight and even. Even the hardware is heavy and beautifully finished and the bag is fully lined in a satiny material. It is the perfect size for my phone in a wallet style case, plus it gives ample space for many cards, an inside zipper pocket and an open pocket for folding money, so that you don’t even need a wallet! There is also an outside zipper pocket that you can either wear out or next to your body for added security of the contents. The color was much richer than the picture indicated and the leather is oh so soft and supple! The shoulder strap is long and adjustable, and rather than the plastic edging on the strap that others use that cracks and quickly becomes unsightly, this is lined with a heavy woven tape that matches the color of the leather perfectly. An added bonus is the removable wrist strap for those times when you do not want or need the shoulder strap. In my last picture, you can see from the zipper tab what the thickness of the leather is and the suppleness is apparent. I am so glad that I took a chance on this bag. It is everything they claimed it to be and I doubt that I could have designed anything more perfect for my specific need. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. It is durable, functional and beautiful! I also see more colors in my future… :-) ... show more

I like that's it's small. It's leather (or so it looks and feels). It's simple and has REAL METAL zippers. I was looking for a wallet and phone purse, and this is perfect. If you like carrying around lots of junk, forget this purse. If you want a bag that is sleek, carries your phone and checkbook, keys, this is perfect. And it comes in many colors.
