Love this kit, practice will make perfect. It came with easy directions and everything I needed. I was new to doing my nails like this, but, it was actually easy. The colors were attractive also. After I did them 3 different occasions they looked fabulous. The first time seemed a bit thick. So you need to be sure nails are clean and primed. They were easy to removed just peeled them off, little bit of damage to couple of my nails. All in all, I will definitely purchase other colors.

This kit is really good for beginners! My first set was a little rough looking but the rest of them since have improved quite a bit. The nails usually last around week and a half for me I’m sure with better prep I could get them to last longer!

The colors look really good on brown skin. Easy to use, not sticky at all. This is the best brand for polygel nails. Long lasting, little to no smell and natural looking colors. Would purchase again!

The media could not be loaded. I did these for the first time tonight. It took me 4 hours (I know because I watched the Barbie movie and Mr and Mrs smith while I did them lol). I didn’t mind because I expected it to take a long time as I’ve never done anything more than press-ons before. I followed the directions included and also watched a couple YouTube videos. The first hand took 2.5 hours and by the time I got to the second hand it took 1.5 hours. I did do each nail individually which I recommend until you get a good handle on how to do it. Next time I will put the foundation all my fingers and cure all at once, then fill the dual forms at all once, then put them on my nails and cure all at once. But I do not recommend you do this the first time. I did learn some tips and tricks! First, I didn’t like the slip solution that came with it. I used rubbing alcohol. It worked great and evaporates quickly even if you use a bit too much. Second, get the finger clips. They’re like $6 and worth it. Get a pack that comes with the salon type nail clipper because if you use regular clippers the whole tip of the nail you just spent all that time doing will break right off. Third, get nail forms. By far the most difficult part for me was getting the undersides to not be an inch thick. Using nail forms in addition to the dual forms will give you perfect nails. I might soak these off and have another go when my nail forms get here. I got a nail drill so I could clean up the undersides of my nails but it takes too long and is less than comfortable. Nail forms! Just do it. Using the including curing lamp I did two button presses on top and then two button presses with the undersides of my nails exposed to ensure the bottom cures. If you don’t they will be a bit soft. I also will get a larger curing lamp that will accommodate my whole hand. All in all I’m very happy with this purchase and look forward to perfecting my polygel skills.

The best thing about this is the LED lamp that it comes with! It is super powerful and I use it for my other gels and projects. The gel itself was really difficult to use and I spent a long time trying to get it right and followed instructions, just to have the nails peel off within an hour of doing them. I do think the colors are beautiful.

I’ve been buying a lot of beetles products because I feel like they were a superior brand. But now it’s just become disappointing! My last two orders, one I got a messed up UV light, which they were able to replace. Now this order, I open the box to find that a gel tube bursted in the box, running things around it. I then try the uv light, and find that it’s not working either. I emailed them not once, but TWICE, and no one ever got back to me! Not sure what’s going on with their quality control, and customer service, but they’re starting to go downhill! Just disappointing!

I’ve always kept long natural nails and sometimes would only put on clear or colored nail polish. I’ve also never had a manicure or pedicure done before. Unfortunately, for the past few months my nails have been growing out curved, which is devastating to me because I love having long natural nails. I decided to buy this kit to see how I’d like it and it turned out better than I expected. It’s not perfect. I’m new at this but it didn’t take long to get the hang of it. Again, this is literally my first time using this kit. Instructions are easy to follow and the kit has everything as described in the description.

The media could not be loaded. I do really like this kid. It’s just missing a few things that I would recommend if you were getting started with poly Joe I would highly recommend also purchasing a drill to do cleanup because you will make a mess when you do this the first time and to get some gel remover as poly gel really does not come off with acetone and at some point you’re going to want to redo these I will also say that I have found that the gel seems to break down a little bit faster than the dip powder I’m used to so I tend to be redoing every two or three weeks versus every four or six weeks, but I’m OK with that as part of the reason I wanted to switch to the poly gel was to update my nail looks more frequently if you watch the video, please do not judge my nails. I am running a Halloween experiment and they might be a little bit on the messy side. Overall the poly gel has been great to keep my natural nails long and protected as as well as to give me some drama when I’m looking for that.
