I purchased these because I continually get a vertical crack in my thumb nail and it drives me nuts. I figured I would cover it with a tip. I actually ordered the square short and the extra short, which ended up being shorter than I would've liked, so I used the short and trimmed them down with regular nail clippers. Application was simple - though I did find they went on easier if I put glue on my nail first and cured it for a few seconds under the lamp and then applied the nail tip with the glue. There's a teeny learning curve, but by the third nail I had it down. So far, they've lasted me two weeks and still look fantastic. A friend actually thought I had them professionally done. For the money, this kit can't be beat. You get everything you need except the polish (and Beetles makes a no wipe topcoat that is awesome - and not expensive). For 1/5 of the price of a professional gel extension you get everything you need to do at least 10 extensions at home.

I am new to gel polish and had never attempted to apply it myself. Since my nails are currently super short, I purchase the short length Beetles glue on tips to give me some length to work with. I will say, even the short length is way too long for me and I will be filing these down. The nails themselves went on super easily and feel very secure. The Beetles gel polish starter set I used to paint them is amazing! The polish went on smooth and easy. I used the base coat, 3 coats of color, and then added the pearls and topped with the glossy top coat. They feel fantastic! I expect them to last at least 2 weeks, so if they chip or fall off before then, I will come back to update review. For now, I'm a very happy customer! Thank you Beetles!

I bought the Beetles Gel Nail Kit to try doing Gel X nails at home, and I loved that it came with everything I needed to get started. It’s a great starter kit for beginners who want to do their own extensions at home. The sizes of the nails were decent, and the variety made it easy to find a good fit for each finger. However, I did run into a few issues. For some reason, I struggled to get the nails to cure perfectly without air bubbles. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t get that flawless, bubble-free finish. I even purchased another UV lamp with a longer neck to see if that would help, but I still had issues with the cure. The biggest problem I had was noticing a green discoloration under my nails, which I assume was some type of bacteria or moisture trapped during the curing process. I decided to stop using the kit altogether, and I haven’t had the issue since. I’m not sure if it was the product itself or if I just didn’t have the right technique, but it made me hesitant to try it again. Key Features: All-in-One Kit: Comes with everything you need to do Gel X nails at home. Decent Nail Sizes: Wide variety of sizes to fit different nail shapes and sizes. Beginner-Friendly: Great for those just starting out with DIY nail extensions. What I Love: The kit included everything I needed to get started. If you’re not skilled at application, you may run into the same issues. If you’re a beginner looking to try Gel X nails, this kit gives you everything you need to start. However, be prepared for a learning curve, especially when it comes to curing the nails properly. The air bubbles and green discoloration were deal-breakers for me, and I haven’t had these issues with other methods. It might be great for someone with more experience or better technique, but for me, it was a bit too tricky.

I bought these because I was tired of dipped nails and polygel takes a long time.. these nails have a multitude of sizes and were fairly easy to apply.. I did not use their light but I’m sure it works fine!! I love my nails!!! Great value for the money!!!

I got these did my set… prep is very important and it tells you how to prep.. my nails have been on for two weeks now.. NO LIFTS NO POP UPS NO CHIPS!!! Nada, nothing, and I work in a factory. I’m very rough on my nails.. save yourself the money going to the nail tech every two-three weeks! These are so easy to do and a very good investment! 💅🏼 😍😍 I would give these 10 stars if I could. Lots of sizes too so you’ll find your fit! I got these and I also got one of the Beetles nail kits with like 90 something pieces and polishes. 👏🏼👏🏼 just do it!! You won’t regret it. And you’ll never go to the nail tech again. 😊

Don’t buy it. I bought it because of its 40k reviewed. Horrible idea. Thee glue didn’t last long to even make it to the event. It came off within 2 hours of application. So embarrassing because I diffing have time to redo them. The UV light is so small that you can only do 1 finger at a time What could’ve taken 30-45 minutes took over 75 minutes because I had to do them one by one. Everything about this is horrible. Threw it away. What a waste of money

So easy to use! I used my beetles gel polish on top of these tips (like a light pink/bubble bath color). Didn’t have to go to the salon and didn’t pay salon prices! It was quick. I cut them down a bit and just filed to shape and then buffed.
