Took off a star bc the lamp broke just shy of a year (charging port got dislodged somehow and pushed inside). The kit is so good otherwise though, I ordered another full kit the next day bc my tips were almost gone anyhow. Thin but strong, they never ever pop off (and I am NOT careful), they take polish beautifully, and they’re easy to glue on. I had a few bubbles the first time but I’m on my 2nd set and zero bubbles. Super easy to learn if you’re a beginner. I get heat spikes with the lamp fairly often but I literally do not care. Take your finger out and put it back in and it’s gone. I’ve had Gel-X professionally applied before - same exact feel and results. I can’t even tell they’re fake and forget I’m wearing them. In love.

So I bought these for a concert I was going to. I normally don't have long nails due to my profession. I applied them two days prior. I put the glue on the fake nail and applied to the base of my real nail. A lot of pressure is NOT needed as it will force the glue to the edges of your nail and seep out. Then you'll have cured glue on the outside. Gentle pressure under the cure lamp for the first 10-15 sec of curing, then you're pretty safe to let go and let it finish curing without pressure. The key is to have no air bubbles under the nail. A few tiny small ones don't seem to effect it, but big ones will create weakness and it'll be prone to falling off sooner and easier. Sooo in the two days prior to the concert, here's a few things I did without losing a nail or incurring any damage: 1. Mowed my yard ( 4 hour job on super wet grass, push mower) 2. Cleaned out bottom of lawn mower when it clogged with wet grass ( lots of grabbing with finger action). Did this about 15-20 times. 3. Weed whacked ( high vibration ) 4. Raked my yard 5. Grabbed and carried lumber 6. Open several cans of soda by the tab 7. Cleaned my house, pulled wet laundry from washer several times 8. Gave dog a bath ( lots of scrubbing fur with fingertips) 9. And the most impressive: pulled down sports bra while dressing after showering... stuck under armpits because skin was damp ( ladies you know the struggle!) These things are good! I like them a lot. They look professional and they feel secure. Application process took about 45 min. Box comes with everything you need.

OMG where has this been all my life. When I break a nail I grab the "normal" nail glue and powder to try and repair it long enough for it to grow out a bit and not totally break off. I can't believe I didn't know about this stuff. Forget the fake nails that come with it....the bottle of glue and the light to harden it are well worth the purchase.

Edit: So upset, here I am at a girls night out and my nails are popping off! The glue I got in my new nail tips set isn’t working like the glue I’ve got in my other nail tips from this company. It’s so embarrassing to not only lose one nail but all 10! Idk what they changed from a few months ago to now with their glue. I’m so disappointed! Probably won’t continue buying. . I am so blown away by how great these nails and glue turned out! I will continue purchasing these. Also so easy to soak off with acetone! The application is very easy, and the nails look so natural on once you paint them! It also had an easy direction paper that is very easy to understand for beginners! Highly recommend giving this a shot! The UV light it came with also works great!

I’ve been using Beetles products for two years now and have been 100% pleased. Normally I do not like nail tips because they don’t stay on (unless professionally done). I decided to try the beetles brand ones. They look great but it’s been less than 24 hrs and several have popped off needing to be replaced. I am very disappointed in them. I’m not hard on nails. I’m a nurse and I wash my hands frequently. Not long after washing them they will lift off.
