The product came in the time expected the quality of everything received was great. I will be ordering different shapes and lengths next time. The gel holds well on the nail because of the texture, the glue is strong, but the downside is its pretty easy to get a bubble underneath while first using them which makes them not stay as long. Once you get the hang of how to glue them, they last forever. I can paint them with gel twice before needing to take them off for a new set. The file is made of good quality and very durable, the clippers are great for beginners, and the set came with many different sizes for all nail sizes. I've tried so many glues with inconsistent results. This glue takes a small learning curve, but just watch their instructional video! A little goes a long way, it smells nice, I absolutely love how it fills gaps, and so far I can feel how strong it is! It did not irritate my sensitive skin. I will come back to update when I can use it on a whole set. Update!: This is easily the best nail glue I've used. Not a single nail, not a single little gem has busted! Usually the first few days I'll lose a nail with other glue, but nothing! I am in love with the ease of use; use the false nail to spread the gel on your natural nail! I always like going to the salon before an important event or a vacation because I want to make sure my nails can look good the whole time without worrying about them. I usually end up spending a bunch of money at the salon for acrylic tips and am never happy with them (they either end up being too thick or crooked or uneven, etc.). This nail kit is the best purchase I've ever made. If you follow the instructions correctly, you get salon quality, or in my opinion BETTER than salon quality nails for a fraction of the salon cost and you have complete control. The kit works amazingly! My nails have now been on for 2 weeks and haven't budged or even lost the color. There was a small learning curve, but I followed the instructions carefully and watched all of the helpful videos on the product page. I love that I discovered this kit, I can now get beautiful nails that last from my living room and honestly look better than they do at the salon. I definitely recommend trying this! ... show more

Okay so, this just got delivered today and I immediately ran to try it out, I was so excited . I’ve been doing my own nails for a while now as I can no longer afford going to nail salon, and I was GIDDY about trying something new. I’m gonna go over the pros and cons but to start, I bought the kit that includes the nails, as well as the glue and the uv light . Pros- -you get 500. Sweet. - nails come individually packaged in little baggies, labeled 0-11. Appears 0 is largest and goes down in size. Also, sweet. So helpful. -nails seem to be somewhat sturdy, esp given price , and almost zero filing needs to be done. -the nails itself are beautiful, esp after I’ve painted them. 10/10 Cons -the uv light is for one nail only, super tiny and just not worth it -the nail glue sucks. I’ve always used super nail glue, but the nail glue included does NOT get sticky, even after holding nail down for 30-60 seconds. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but it was just… wet. So every time I realized the nail from placing it, the nail would move and trying to put one finger (while holding the nail down with the other to keep placement ) under the small “one nail at a time” uv light , was just impossible. No thanks. After two tries, I just straight to my ol faithful super nail glue. If I were you, I’d save the couple bucks, buy just the nails , don’t purchase the kit, and get yourself some nail glue. -lastly, it wasn’t advertised, but per the instructions they say to push back cuticles, file and buff and then use alcohol prep to clean, but they provide none of these things. This is more of an fyi. Overall. Nails itself are a win. Not worth the kit though ... show more

I've been doing my nails on and off at home for about 2 years. I'd been using polygel but found the dual forms difficult to use so I was hand shaping and e-filing all of my nails, which took (literally) 4 hours from natural nail prep to finished extension (this doesn't include painting or any nail design). I've learned most of what I know from random videos online, and kept seeing tutorials on gel x nail extensions. I was ready to take a break from nails because it was SO time consuming (and my polygel was only lasting about 10-14 days). I decided to try these extensions and they were worth it. It has cut my application time to about 1.5 hours and they are just as durable (dare I say, MORE durable) than my polygel extensions. With the same wear and tear, I haven't broken any nails yet at day 11 of my set. You do have to apply them correctly, though, or you won't have good retention. I fully prepped my natural nails and e-filed my cuticles. I also used a dehydrator and an acid free primer. These extensions are pre-etched but I used my e-file to etch them more before applying. I lightly filed the edges near my cuticles after applying and sealed the area near the cuticle with a brush dipped in acetone. I'm very happy with these extensions. I used to have my nail license and after changing from doing acrylics to dip to press ons for my own nails, this set is great. I am impressed by how thick and sturdy the nails are and the gel glue that comes with it has been staying on great. I am rough with my nails and only one fell off but it was because i forgot to buff the nail before hand. My only issue is that it is hard to hold the nail on under the light while it sets but once you initally get it set it is fine. Would def recommend for anyone wanting longer staying press-ons.
