I taught myself to do my nails during the pandemic, and I like trying new products. This acrylic goes on very smooth and is very well pigmented. I use it with Mia Secret monomer and it works just fine. The only issue I have is that it is more for color than building up the nail (ex: apex). I put down a base layer of clear, then use the beetles acrylic for color coverage, then finish building the apex and thickness of the nail with more clear. Other than that, I really like the colors and coverage. The size of the containers are small, but for the cost it works out great. A little goes a long way so long as you don't try to do your entire set with JUST the beetles acrylic alone. (I forgot to take pictures of my last set ~ sorry.)

The only thing I’d say wasn’t ideal about these acrylic powders is that no matter how much I clean the brushes after use, fine particles stick in between the bristles of every one of the brushes I used and it keeps them from sticking together, hard to explain but the bristles are frayed and they won’t come out, I’ve been doing nails for a little over a year and I’ve never had this issue, if I use this product I’m aware that the brush used unfortunately becomes a one and done situation, aside from that, the colors are vibrant and the product is very easy to apply.

The media could not be loaded. I have used a lot of acrylic before but not beetles and I don't even know why because this was one of the best acrylics I have ever used. It goes on like butter it almost self levels and it is so soft and satisfying to apply your application. Anyone that does acrylic nails understands when I say it goes on like melted butter it is amazing acrylic and that's just the application the colors are outstanding I purchased the pastel set and I used every color which is in my video every color and they are close and color but yet so different when applied I am so satisfied with this set I am going to be looking for more acrylics by beetle they have great Polly gel I did not know they had great acrylic too so if you are a beginner or if you do nails regularly this is a definite definite by absolutely beautiful I will definitely be getting this again and looking for more beetle acrylics... Colors are not as pigmented as shown in the photo , in my opinion you would have to go over it way to much making the nail thick and clumpy In order to see the shade . It’s even hard to differentiate shades being the color doesn’t show up well .

people say these aren’t pigmented but that’s just not true, once you get the wet with monomer they become their true color. i’m in cosmetology school and these are amazing. they lay down very well and don’t dry too fast so you can manipulate it. however if you use too much liquid they will take forever to dry (duh) but they did eventually dry down and i was able to file them and put two coats of GEL TOPCOAT, to make them shine
