I ordered the XL (A4) Dartmouth green notebook: it is awesome! High quality. Excellent binding. Looks absolutely amazing. Paper is excellent - and works really well with fountain pens too. I use these type notebooks a lot and this is first time trying the Beechmore brand. It's my new favourite brand. The A4 size is perfect for my use, and I enjoy that the line rule isn't too narrow like other brands. The paper is perforated, so pages can be removed if desired. I don't know that I need that feature, but the perforations aren't noticeable ... so if you do not want to remove pages, that feature won't be a problem. If you are gifting this, it comes in a very nice box lined with tissue paper. Highly recommend!!

From the substantial covers. to the heavy, lined pages and larger sizes (8 1/2 X 11 ins) these books are perfect for me. I have large writing, so these large pages and spaced lines work well for my Journalling. The pages are thick enough to write on both sides without bleeding through or being able to see the writing on the other side. The covers are available in many colors.

I've finally found the perfect journal. It's large - 8.5 x 11, the paper is of good quality, and the lines aren't too close together - nor are they too far apart. Beyond that, it's beautiful, and it feels substantial but not bulky in my hands. I bought the green color, and it's gorgeous. I'm smitten!

I'm a senior citizen who has kept journals for many years....this purchase is my 9th volume. I couldn't find the same journal, so I tried this one. I love it. It's the perfect size, it's high quality and my handwriting (that has deteriorated over the years) even looks better because the paper is easier to write on.

It had a mildew smell to it. I had to spray disinfectant all over it then the smell went away after a few days. After getting passed all that it is a nice notebook
