I have bought two of these books and could not be happier. The unboxing experience rivals that of any Apple product. The box itself is high-quality and will work well to protect your notebook after it has been filled, or serves as an excellent box for gifting. The book is wrapped in a tissue paper that is fixed at the back by a branded sticker made of top-notch material. Yes, even the sticker was made with care. The book is study, stays open, and the pages only need a little press to stay put when the book is on a music stand. Pages are perforated, tear away easily, and the book includes a back pocket for storing notes. My composition method usually finds me making extensive revisions. I burn through erasers quickly. The paper within the book withstands a lot of rough treatment. A lesser paper would erode away, rip, or bend. The paper within the book does none of these. The price is a little steep for staff paper, but it is 100% worth the money if you hold on to your written copies for archival purposes. If you know a composer who has a special day coming soon, this book is an outstanding and affordable gift.

Great for my theory class and extremely nice quality. The paper is thick, and the pages are easily removable when needed. It has also lasted three semesters of theory and musicianship, and I am about to buy a new one for the final stretch of classes.

These are the most exquisite writing journals I have ever found... they are beautiful, well-made, just perfect-- magical. They come in a gorgeous box, each is wrapped with tissue paper-- it feels like a new writing endeavor ritual just receiving and opening each time... I have already bought three in a month as the pages have been filled up so quickly... I even accidentally ordered the musical staff notes version for those who are musical and Beechmore Books completely took care of me and helped me with a replacement immediately. I feel this inadvertently happened so I could share how wonderful their customer service is... and share there is a musical writing option as well which I didn't realize... As a writer, they have a loyal customer in me... I use the ruled A4 extra large as that is perfect for my manuscript writing... the colors are gorgeous... AND- if you want to give these as gifts... they are perfect!!! The way they are packaged will make someone feel very special. Thank you again for everything you have done for me Beechmore Books! This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship! Beautifully packaged, sturdy and lovely cover. Heavyweight paper, 10 staff lines per page with well-spaced distance within and between staves. As a composer, I could not be happier with this.
