Item as pictured. Looked up "dotted journal" and this came up in the search. Saw drawings in 2nd picture and missed the following one showing it is lined not dotted. Amazon get it together with search results. Decided to keep it because I needed a space to record information and it works well, just a bit more of a challenge to set up the page. Elastic is decent, pages aren't 120 gsm but pens and markers haven't ghosted thru yet. Pen Loop is sturdy and notebook is new but I think it's partially sewn and partially glued binding so should last to the last page without falling apart. I use it at the kitchen table 2 - 3 times a day not used hard used or toted around like a traveler's journal. Well worth the $2.99 per journal. Way better than Dollar Store and in a financial pinch as well as can be expected compared to high end journals (keeping in mind you shouldn't watercolor in it.

The cover is very nice, bright and smooth. Inside pages are easily written upon. I purchased this to take notes in for a job and I think it will be great, it is lightweight and sturdy and made of a material that will repel some water droplets, but not a submerging. Edit June 17, 2021. These notebooks come with a small "free gift" insert that if you post a review on Amazon, and then send them the link, they will send you a free set of pens. However, the emails are automated (see below) "Hi friend, We develop in paper products and our new products need your sincere review on Amazon. Your review is very important for other customers to realize our products. The next step to get the gift： 1. Leave a review with some beautiful pics or a video on Amazon. 2. Send me your review picture or review link about the products.（Need to be offered） Note: Pls do not mention or show the card in your review pic, thanks. This is an automatic mail reply.Your message has been delivered successfully" and so no one looks at them, and when I went to ask about the "free gift" I was informed I still have to pay for shipping (from their email: "Hello, we have already sent you the 99% code of the pen, thank you"), and that "Hello, because this is a one-time code, you need to use it within a day to be effective, and can only be used once." So even though Amazon takes 4 days to post the review, I am supposed to be able to somehow send them the posted review and same day get the code and use it to get free pens. I have followed their insert instructions every time (I've bought three of these journals) with no luck. I know it is probably just a cheap set of pends but I've posted and sent them reviews of the journals and I feel like I should mention this. The journals are great, don't get me wrong, I just don't like the shadyness of the company.

This is one of the most beautiful affordable journal notebook I have ever purchased. It has a sturdy hardback cover. The texture on the cover is extremely soft and feels like seude. The design is very bold and the colors are vibrant. The rounded detail around the entire book also is a nice touch. You won't have to worry about creases to the pages or the end of the edges of the cover.The writing pages are lined and has a nice weight to it. It will not tear easily at all. You can use most certainly use any type of ink or marker on these pages without worrying if it will bleed through. I love the ribbon marker attached so I can mark where I left off when writing and the elastic band around the entire notebook to ensure it stays closed when not in use. This is a must buy for any journal writer or note keeper.

This seems like a high quality notebook -- especially for the price. The paper is thick and there is a nice pocket folder at the back for important papers you want to keep. My writing doesn't bleed through. I recommend this.

This journal notebook fit my needs perfectly. I wanted a simple but well made notebook to keep track of my many passwords. I know there are notebooks specifically designed to display User id, Password and Website. I prefer a ruled notebook but no specific place to write information. I like to be free to write the information I want along with my comments about the website and products. I sometimes illustrate my likes and dislikes. This notebook is the perfect size, nice thick paper, great pocket envelope and a handy ribbon to mark the last page I used. The cover has a nice smooth feel to it and a happy flower design. And the pricing is amazing, worth every penny! I am buying a few more of them for my sisters. If you need a small notebook buy this one, you won't be disappointed.

Love this notebook! Got it for work and it’s small enough to fit on my small desk where computers and keyboards take much space. But big enough to still have a substantial list of my daily tasks. Also the quality is really good and it was only for $2.69??? I thought I might’ve fallen apart cuz it was cheap but the quality is great.
