I wanted to get some silky/satin pillowcases because I had heard that it is the least damaging material for hair (and I have fragile fair strands). I bought these Bedsure satin pillow cases because of the low price and great reviews and have used them for the past several years. This is my honest review after all this time. First, I am so surprised by how great the price is considering that these are made of a good quality satin material. They hold up well in the regular wash (probably should go in the delicate cycle but I'm lazy). Looks exactly as pictured and feels so nice/smooth on my skin. It also feels cool on the skin which is nice when you flip your pillow over at night. I also heard that satin absorbs less bacteria than standard bedding material. Since I have skin issues (acne prone) this was appealing to me. I can't say that I saw a drastic change in skin, but its nice to know that these are potentially better for my skin than what I was using. I ALSO heard that satin is less harsh on the skin than standard bedding material, so it doesn't pull on the skin as much while you sleep. The idea is that less skin pulling means less future wrinkles but I couldn't tell you if there is any difference in my skin aging. Overall, the potential benefits of satin pillowcases make it worth it to buy a set. I sleep comfortably on these and they have held up really well over the years. I would definitely recommend them. Front to back is champagne, black, taupe! Second photo is coral on top of those, but the photo is making the coral look more mauve, when I see more of a peach. I've used these cases for maybe 3 years now? Finally came to replace the ones on my bed as my kids have used these for sack races and sleeping bags over the years all over our beat up wood floors and there are finally holes showing up in the seams. My daughter has wild curly ringlets of hair and I switched their pillows out for these to help with night time tangles. I can't sleep on other cases these are it for me forever. And it's odd as these are polyester I believe? I have sensory issues and thought I could only handle natural fibers but these are great. We also live in arizona and these stay cool overnight. I go with black and taupe, as the taupe looks like a muted gold to me. It's pretty. Got the champagne ones by accident and they're more of a yellow gold. Coral and pink are so pretty and I have those on my girls beds. My favorite is black. I've seen some black satins look like trash bags before, but these are just gorgeous. Silky sleek soft comfy lovely. ALSO I once compared these to another brand claiming to be "mulberry silk" for twice the price, and they had identical fabric content!

I switched to a satin pillowcase up on the recommendation of my hairdresser. I have used this pillowcase for months now and I'm happy with the performance. It has not shrunk nor faded after many washings. I hang them to dry instead of putting it in the dryer and it dries quickly. They do wrinkle some though. Wrinkle releaser gets rid of the wrinkles easily or iron on low. I like the envelope closure aka European fold. Actually I only purchase cases and/or sheet sets with that feature because I like it so much. The cases run a bit large on my queen size pillow. I'm not complaining though because the pillow hasn't slipped out while I'm sleeping even when I flip the pillow. The most important feature is although they're satin (polyester actually) they don't sleep hot. Believe you me I'd know it because I'm a hot sleeper. I don't wake up with a sweaty head using these cases even in SE TX where it's ridiculously hot 9 mths out of the year.

I really love these, especially in the summer. They feel soft, silky and cool to the touch, especially when you put these on a "cooling pillow". Personally, I actually DO get better, longer sleep using these. I have tried all the different kinds of fabrics (cotton, bamboo, etc.), and these one's have really helped me far more than the others. Even my dog prefers to lay on these satin ones. I just gave up and got one just for her. I also really like quality of these. I ordered a pair over a year ago, and they are still going strong. These new ones look and seem identical, so I don't foresee any problems anytime soon. Lastly, for the price, they just can't be beat. I hope this helps anyone interested. All I can say is at least try them once, I honestly don't think you will be disappointed.
