Since using these, my hair is way less tangled in the morning and seems to be less frizzy. The satin doesn’t dry out my hair, and if I go to bed with wet hair, it’s still pretty wet in the morning because it doesn’t absorb much. This also goes for oils in the hair. My husbands hair gets oily fast, but these pillowcases don’t absorb it so the pillows and pillowcases stay cleaner longer. Will wrinkle if you have wet hair after late shower. It's artificial fabric and it can feel hot not always cool to your head. Also wrinkles if your hair is wet when you go to bed or damp even. However they are nice enough. I offer them to guest beds as an extra nice option. I put 4 pillows or more on a guest bed so usually the guest can pull off the pillows they don't want or utilize all they do like during their stay. This soft grey color is great with yellow bedding and other colors. I have been using silk pillow cases for several years and they kept tearing after a while as silk is so fragile. I decided to buy satin ones to see if there was much difference. I am surprised that I like the satin as much as I do and they are much more sturdy. Personally I like when a company reaches out after you buy their product and they did that. I thought it was funny they sent directions on how to put a pillowcase cover on. But that stood out to me as funny and different. They come in nice packaging tooo They are standard good pillow cases. The material is a little thicker you can tell it’s not real silk. But they are soft and the material I was looking for. I’m buying these for haircare protection and these will work perfectly. I ordered two different colors and we love them both. At first when I opened them I was unsure, they felt very different than what I was expecting. Honestly I almost sent them back. I have had another brand and out of the package felt much different- so I was going off of that. I really liked this price point and it has such wonderful reviews I thought okay, let's wash them and see what happens. I'm so glad I did because after washing they were perfect! I prefer satin/silk pillowcases to help prevent hair breakage/frizz. I have long that is naturally 3C curls and I straighten it from time to time so I’m prone to frizz. I purchased this pillow case because I like to try to brands and I liked the color. Not my favorite that I’ve had but it’s nice for its price. The fabric is sewn inside so that the pillow ideally can sit comfortably in the slot without sliding. Nice concept but my pillow falls right out of it. I have had these pillow cases for a few months. I hand wash them in cold water with a plant-based detergent and it seems to work really well. If I had a washing machine with a gentle cycle, that would have done the trick too. Very comfortable sleep. My pillow is of hypoallergenic contour type and the regular size pillow case fits great. I did buy the deep dark green and it's gorgeous. Beautiful color. I do double my pillow cases to protect the pillow so it lasts better/longer too so underneath I have a flannel pillow case. ... show more

Arrived day one and item was ripped directly in the seam and completely unusable. I guess you get what you pay for…. Such a bummer —- update: sent a message to the seller as well as Amazon. Replacement arrived and so far so good. The seller was insanely attentive in fixing the issue and also wanted to insure I returned as a customer. On top of that they wanted to make sure no one received my faulty return as their order. And asked for further feedback on where, how and the status of the rip/faulty item.
