I've never slept on satin sheets before, so I got a set. It's a unique experience. Very, very soft! So much so, they give them very deep pockets, so the corners don't slide off, flip up and make you wake up in a cocoon! It feels like melatonin in a fabric! However, it also presents some unique problems. I use regular pillowcases, because a satin pillowcase on the satin sheets moves around like the puck on an air hockey board, and it may wind up on the floor! The satin sheets can sometimes migrate downward, and you have to pull them up again. I also have to wash and dry them separate in the delicates so they don't lose that smooth feel they have or get covered with dust-bunnies. I do find it very relaxing to rub my hand around on an open flat spot when I'm settling down. If you haven't tried these, I recommend it! You only live once! ... show more

I was trying to match my beige/cream colored sheets as closely as possible, so I ordered the beige color. I was concerned that these might end up being one of those puckey beige colors when they arrived. However, I needn't have worried. They are a lovely elegant looking color of beige. They are comfortable and seem to be well made. My main reason for purchasing them was to see of they would help with the cowlicks on the back of my head, which get even much worse when I sleep on my pillow. However, they didn't do anything to help that regard. However, I am keeping them, since they are supposed to help with the condition of your hair. They do stay a little wrinkled after washing (which I did before I used), but I didn't bother ironing them ...so the picture I posted shows a slightly wrinkled pillow case. One thing to consider when ordering is that they run really big. I have queen size pillows and originally ordered the queen cases, 20x30. They were so big that the pillows would have kept moving around inside the pillow cases, even using the pocket in the cases. So, I immediately returned them and reordered the standard size cases, 20x26. These fit much better. They are just a tiny bit too short, but the pockets hold and hide the pillows nicely on the end, so you really can't tell they are too short. It is much better than having the pillow travel inside the case. I would purchase these again. ... show more

The pillowcase itself is decent. Soft and seems like good quality. It does wrinkle a lot. Also hair wasnt frizzy when I woke up. If you like silk/satin pillowcases then you'll like this one. I bought this to try the curly girl method and help my hair from being frizzy in the morning. Last night was was my first time sleeping on a satin pillowcase and I HATED IT. I tossed and turned all night long and couldn't get comfortable. My face & neck felt hotter than with my cotton pillowcase and my head kept slipping off in the night causing me to wake up and reposition. I'm going back to my regular pillowcase and look for another solution for my hair. I am going to keep them, however, because I can drape them over the back of the couch when my hair is drying, but I will never sleep on one again. ... show more

I have to be more diligent about reading the product names and descriptions. I was searching for silk pillowcases and stumbled on this product with 30k+ reviews! Of course without hesitation I bought it. LOL. I played myself… this is 100% polyester satin. But from my research and limited experience so far, polyester satin NBD. Came wrinkled as hail but was fine after washing. Biggest plus is that you can machine wash… silk you cannot. Worth it for the price and convenience, but note it’s not silk! ... show more

I live in a small studio apartment. I have a washing machine but no dryer. I take them out of the washer and immediately press them to eliminate wrinkles. Pressing them nearly completely dries them. These satin pillowcases are heavenly. SO soft and silky. They wash up beautifully. The envelope style of the pillowcase does help the pillowcase to actually stay on and not wiggle off. I’ve tried other satin pillowcases and they were not near as soft as these. The others had a weird almost stiffness to the fabric that was just not comfortable. These are HEAVENLY. Will certainly purchase more and plan on seeing if this brand sells an entire sheet set. Highly recommend this brand! ... show more
