I had purchased a duvet insert prior to this purchase that I had to return because of bad quality and descriptions that didn't match what the product actually was. I saw this ingenious add for a insert that has 2 layers that you can choose how warm you want it. Ihad to buy it. Even my husband thought it was ingenious. When I received the duvet insert, I opened the package and let it breath for 3 days just like the directions said. There were not any smells, or loose threads. It was wrinkled but it had been vacuum sealed. After it breathed I put both layers into the duvet cover. We live in Wisconsin so even now the nighttime Temps can be in the 30's. The insert was fluffy and it wasn't extremely heavy. The first night was warm here and using both inserts was to much for May but will be perfect this winter. I removed the heavier insert. The next night we used just the light insert and it was perfect for my husband and I. He is always hot and I am always cold. The light insert was perfect for both of us. I have put the other insert away until fall. This was the best product I could have gotten. I have told all my family about this ingenious product and they are all going to buy this. The description fit the product. I don't usually buy on line, infact this is the 3rd thing I have bought on line. If and when I need more bedding it will be from Bedsure.
