I absolutely love how comfy it is, super secure with the 8 ties and zipper on covers. The only thing I wish is that it was a little wider. Yes, I could get a California king or oversized king. In fact I went to go order a bigger size (and was going to put the king one in our camper) but the bigger sizes do not have as many cover options. Such a bummer! I got this for my daughter's bed, she doesn't like being "too warm" while sleeping but loves the simplicity of using a single comforter (duvet w/ a duvet cover) when making her bed. I've made the mistake of buying duvet inserts that were "too hot" and that's kid-speak for they simply don't "breath" - air can't readily pass-through it. This comforter (duvet insert) uses a down alternative that isn't going to aggravate allergies and allows you to stay warm, but in the warmer months also "sleep cool" as it doesn't "Trap" heat inside...it allows your natural body heat to warm the area and then allows an "air exchange" to happen so that excess moisture doesn't build-up inside. It's not a "new technology" but this duvet insert simply does a great job with it! Kids that don't get a good night's sleep aren't fun or productive at school...so this is a worthwhile investment! ... show more

This comforter is exceptionally soft. Some of the softest fabric I’ve ever felt. Has very high fill for a twin duvet but it’s very lightweight. Light enough to use in the summer but thick enough to use in the winter. Probably best to use it bare if you want a cooler comforter or use a duvet cover if you want something warmer. The fabric is a very light gray with a unique stitching pattern but the fill doesn’t seem to move around despite not being traditionally quilted. My son has wanted a down feather comforter since he was really young because it’s what we had on our bed and I finally bought him one about 3 weeks ago but he doesn’t want to stop using this duvet because of how soft it is. I definitely recommend this thing for its value, quality and versatility no matter what season it is. ... show more
