I bought this for our spare bedroom, but I slept in the room for a whole week while I had to be with my cat who had an ear surgery. Oh my, it's SO soft and cosy...I just LOVE it! We already have a nice comforter in the main bedroom otherwise, I'd get on for there too. It isn't quite as thick as I was hoping, but the vertical lines give the illusion of more thickness. If it's too thin then it's just like a blanket and I wanted a true comforter without spending a fortune. It's got a modern look while also being very comfortable. My husband who doesn't notice most things right away, LOL, noticed this right away. He felt it and said "I want one of these." It may get too hot for those who run on the warm side, but for me who's always cold, I find it delightfully cosy and warm. We live in Colorado so it's perfect. It'll be fine in the summer too because we keep it cool inside with the AC. If it's too hot, you can roll it down to the foot of the bed. It seems very well made as well. I’ve never written a review for something I’ve gotten on Amazon before but this comforter is INCREDIBLE. It’s fluffy, think, soft, breathable, and it keeps you warm without making you feel overheated. It looks and feels luxurious like a fancy hotel. I HIGHLY recommend, worth every single penny.

It's super soft, it warm, and cozy...it hold up well being washed and dried ( BUT it is huge so you need a large washer or a laundromat..only downside) Perfect winter comforter, or if you just like being ultra cozy all the time. Its comforter is so soft! I did wash the comforter before putting on the bed but every morning I’m covered in little fluff bits and need to vacuum a lot more to get the fluff off of the floor. It’s sooo warm too. So definitely a great winter bedding, I don’t know if I’ll keep it on for the warmer months though. ... show more

Appearance is attractive and true to photos. Sizing is as promised. More of a thick double faced blanket than comforter. Did not smell clean and had a funky chemical smell. Because it is incredibly, surprisingly heavy and is marked “use large capacity commercial machine,” it had to be laundered at a dry cleaner with washing service. That cost $37. If you are prepared for that, add it into the cost. Or if you have a safe and decently maintained coin laundry nearby (I do not) it might not be as expensive, but still will take a a good bit of time and effort. Once washed and dried, it still had a slight odor. However, it is soft and fluffy, and should be a warm blanket for colder nights. Would definitely not order again due to laundering issues and odor. ... show more
