I am truly pleased with my purchase of this cotton duvet cover. The material is wonderful, and I love the beautiful texture that it brings into my bedroom. I washed it after receiving it, and it did not shrink as far as I can tell- it fit my king down comforter perfectly. Because the back is not textured, it is a little wrinkled like any 100% cotton would be, but I’m displaying the textured side and it looks great without the need to iron. I thought that I would have trouble putting the duvet into the cover, but was pleasantly surprised! With two people it took no time and by myself was also very easy. I have sensory processing issues so texture is a big deal to me but I really wanted a duvet to make my bed more cloud like. I loved the texture this adds visually and it is soft enough where I don’t mind it against my skin, though if someone is more sensitive than I am, I can see it being a bit uncomfortable. I am giving this 3 stars because of the sizing. I ordered an oversized Queen 98x 98 bc I have a tall mattress and boxspring and wanted these covered when the comforter is on the bed. Well the box and packaging and the tag in the duvet said Overized Queen. So I removed it from the packaging. Washed in cold water, dried on low. Attached the comforter insert and when I put it on the bed it did was short. My trusty tape measure said 83 wide x 83 inches! Wth? Did it shrink that much by over 15 inches?? Other than that it is super soft and cozy. I cannot decide whether to return it bc it was labeled correctly. What if I get the same thing? I will let you know... ... show more
