This duvet cover is soft and well sewn. Directly out of the package the perfectly pressed material has a very prominent satin shine to it, but once machine washed and dried on low heat, the material looks substantially less shiny, but is still very soft, pleasingly light and smooth to the touch, and has a subtle but silky sheen (most evident when the fabric is smoothed with the back of one’s hand). In the ivory color, it reminds me a little of silk wedding gown material. I appreciate this duvet’s easy-to-use interior ties as well as smoothly closing zipper on one side——not all lyocell duvet covers offer this particular combination of fasteners. I also value its oeko-tex certification. As for the sleeping experience, I have only used it for a couple nights at this point but this cover already feels much lighter and cooler than the brushed microfiber one I used before with the same duvet insert. Before buying this cover I tried to buy a 100% tencel cover by another vendor on amazon that was more than twice as expensive as this one, but ended up returning it because it arrived with a prominent hole in the fabric and a large, unidentified insect between the folds of fabric. Several reviewers of that more expensive one had commented that the material, while blissfully soft, was prone to developing holes after only short periods of time, being a thin and fully biodegradable fabric. I’m hoping the lyocell cotton blend of this bedsure duvet will be stronger and prove longer lasting, although only time will tell. When I posed a question regarding this product prior to purchasing it, the manufacturer answered it in a timely fashion. That was not my experience with another vendor on amazon of lyocell duvet covers—my question went ignored and still has not been answered weeks later. I own several other bedsure winter blankets and now this duvet cover, and have a growing sense of trust in this brand to deliver a quality product at a reasonable price, from a company that is willing to stand behind their product and does not cut corners on safety certifications (for the health of their customers).

This is the second Bedsure Cooling Duvet that I have purchased. I love the material (it's very soft) and it actually provides a cooling feeling which I desperately needed. I'm a very hot sleeper and this has made me so comfortable at night. The duvet is well made and has the perfect amount of ties inside to hold my comforter in place. I also like the zippered bottom instead of buttons that always come undone. It has a very clean look style-wise. I would highly recommend this duvet to others.

Just received & washed/dried. I’m getting ready to put it on my bed. Since it’s summer time, I will not be putting the duvet insert inside, I’ll just use the cover over my top sheet as an extra top sheet. Yes, mine has also lost its satin finish sheen, that’s to be expected. Lyocell doesn’t like water. This will need to be washed with care. Mild detergent, do not wash with heavy fabrics (its best to just wash this on its own or with bed sheets ) cool water and tumble dry on very low heat or hang dry. Lyocell tends to dry fast, 30 minutes on low heat should do it. I have a similar cover made from modal that takes 2 hours to dry on low! It drapes beautifully and feels like silk. I prefer it to not have that slippy, satin texture. I like it for its airy, delicate feel. If you want something that has that shiny, satin like finish, you will want a polyester or modal cover. I will update my review if it deteriorates with use/washing.

I went through many duvet covers until I found this one. The main thing I was looking for was super super soft since my husband has sensory issues. This definitely checks that box. I love the color. It’s like a silvery blue grey color. My only complaint is that it is always looking very wrinkled:( it is cooling which helps me sleep. I just wish it was a little cheaper. The king-size runs a little big for my king size duvet insert. Overall, I will probably keep this (and that is saying something since I tried out like 10 different ones)

I’m very picky when it comes to bedding and this set did not disappoint! The duvet cover and sheet set feel great, have a cooling effect, and makes your bed feel and look so luxurious. The zipper also makes it so much easier to remove for washing than your typical duvet cover buttons. Highly recommended!

I am giving this duvet 5 stars because it does what it claims but I need to mention a big con first Con: Within a week I have multiple snags/holes from my cats nails. ( I do trim them every 2 weeks) I took a photo so other pet owners can consider when purchasing. I didn’t take off a star for this because I would I have other “cooling” blankets and the same thing happens because of the fabric. Pros: soft, cooling, didn’t smell, good quality. I also loved the color. I got Ivory, It’s hard to tell that it is ivory or off white, until you look at the duvet next to the fitted sheet that is super white. I personally this is a more flattering color to go with most decor vs the regular white which can look like a blue hue

Only comes with corner ties, king size comforter from same brand and company has 8 tie strings. I had to use safety pins to keep in place But that is not a safe option nor did it even fit nicely, just made bed look messy. I feel both comforter and duvet cover really needed 6 top/bottom ties and 4 side to hopefully give a clean look. I gave 3 stars because of the material being so soft and it seemed well made with the exception of the amount of ties.
