I've had this for quite some time and finally used it last night. What took so long? Well, silly me, I was looking for a twin down alternate throw at the time (summer) as I needed something light weight to keep my injured foot warm when I sat on the couch for a few hours in the evening. It was hot outside but the A/C was keeping the house cool. I had an 'oh no' moment when I opened the package. It was a comforter, not a throw. I checked my order, and indeed it was my mistake. Now that the cold season is in full swing, I am thrilled that I made that summer mistake. I have a queen bed and find that a twin comforter works better than a queen for me. I don't like all the excess material of a queen draping over the sides of the bed. And yes, my mid-sized pooch shares the bed with me. It is so much easier to maneuver a twin cover while 'Fido" and I are settling in for the night. By the way, when spread out, the comforter covers the entire surface of the queen bed. The extra length is wonderful. I give that extra length to my feet in sort of a tent like fashion. My feet like loose, light, and warm. This comforter checks all three boxes. It is truly SLENDID. So perhaps this review is perfectly on time for folks who are now looking for winter warmth.

I've been wanting to replace our king size comforter (summer weight) and duvet cover (100% cotton) with two twin size comforters for ages. When I came across this listing, it seemed like a good way to see if my husband and I liked having our own comforters as much at home as we do when traveling. The price was reasonable and there was a color that worked well with the rest of our decor. The comforters arrived quickly and I promptly washed them. They felt soft and looked great after removing them from the dryer. We have a fitted sheet on the mattress and have been sleeping under these for a week and I absolutely love them! For the first time in a couple of years, I'm not waking up from night sweats! I've tried so many other things (several different types of sheets, other duvet covers for the king-size comforter, even a "cooling" blanket) and this comforter is the first thing that has made sleeping through the night possible again. Honestly, I thought these would simply be a way to try out having our own covers. If we liked the concept, I planned to use these as guest bedding and purchase comforters and duvet covers (the ones with loops and ties so everything stays in place); however, I'm so pleased with these that we're going to use them for the foreseeable future. Depending on how they hold up after repeated washings, I may have to reconsider. I'll update my review in a few months to address the durability of these.

I bought this comforter set knowing it was lightweight and soft, but I had hoped the cover was just slightly thicker than the cheapest quality microfiber. The top and bottom fabric feels quite thin. It’s very soft, the weave pattern is nice, and the stitching is well done. No loose threads or crooked seams. The taupe color is exactly as pictured. It’s lovely. However, I doubt that it will last a year with multiple washes, due to its very thin light weight. Knowing that, I will be using this as a duvet insert for the summer/ fall seasons.

We recently got a split king bed with a moveable base - sleeping with a king blanket wasn’t cutting it with us sleeping at different heights. So I got 2 of these in XL twin. And it’s amazing! Here’s why I love them: No more being disturbed when one person gets up - you have your own blanket. They’re quiet - no crinkle or noise. They wash well and dry quickly in the washing machine. They aren’t too thick or thin - it’s 100° where we live right now and these bad boys aren’t making us sweat through the night. I love the shade of grey we got - it literally matches everything. These blankets are phenomenal and I’m really glad we got them for our new bed. If you’re thinking about a new blanket for 1-2 people, get yourself TWO and thank me later.

This comforter has a beautiful pattern on it and is very light weight for my hot teen sleeper. However, the color is definitely not sage. It’s mint green. The one picture (excuse my daughter’s doodle wall) shows the curtain (sage) against the comforter (not sage). They are two very different colors. My daughter will use it now but we are on the hunt for an actual sage comforter.
