Remember that special blanket you had as a kid that had the SMOOTHEST satin binding? Well here that dreamy feeling is in an entire satin pillowcase! (If you're a "texture-phile" like me, you'll understand.) And the fabric is the perfect weight - not as thin as silk, not as thick as wedding-dress satin. The open end tucks over nicely on a standard-size pillow. I'll be buying more for holiday gifts (and maybe a few for myself). I wanted a satin pillow case for when I couldn't be bothered to wear my satin bonnet and this pillow case is really nice. It's easy to put on and off, there's no weird smell. It's actually pretty soft and the size is okay, it fit my pillow just enough but could be bigger. Yes it does show oil stains from my hair but I don't care about that. The more I sleep on it, the more stains spread and end up looking normal lol. I don't get hot sleeping on it which I'm surprised at. The only reason why I wouldn't give this 5 stars is because it have been kinda slippery on my bed sheets. The material makes my pillow push away from my head. I don't know if that's due to my pillow density or not but that bothers me. Otherwise it has been great so far.
