It is a tent. It is a bed. My grandson’s, 5 and 6 are big fans of this tent. It was a bit confusing putting it up. And after I realized the mattress goes inside the tent as the tent has a bottom. In the middle of the night my grandson slid off to the side and the tent slid with him. So in the morning I slid the mattress all the way off and shoved the double mattress in there. Much better. I also purchased battery operated light bulbs which they hung on the hook on the center loop and on the side loops that are for securing the side panels up. They love all the window options that also has a netting panel. Not sure why but they are amused. The storage pouch on the inside end isn’t the deepest so it isn’t useful to hold their water or much else. All and all it is a good and sturdy tent that looks awesome. ... show more

I am an overthinker and research purchases WAY too much! My daughter asked for a play tent for her birthday, which translates to me spending hours looking for quality, sturdiness, headroom, ventilation, strong zippers, solid stitching, lantern and light loops, corner access for power cords, etc. After many comparisons, I landed on this tent and it is absolutely wonderful! My daughter loves it and I love it! We bought string lights for inside, it's roomy enough for multiple children or even me, and adult, to hang out and play inside the stent with my daughter. There is plenty of headroom, so not hunching over when sitting up! It's the perfect tent!!! This post is for families with eloping children. We are waiting for our medical bed which has already taken months. Our son outgrew the crib and we could no longer fight keeping him in. We tried one other tent and sadly, it was DESTROYED within 2 months. Stitching torn, mesh stretched, etc... one thing is didnt realize I needed to look for was a fully enclosed bottom tent where the mattress sits on top vs. our last purchase tucked in like a fitted sheet. It took him daysnto realize he could pull it up and climb out. - this has a fully enclosed bottom. One double-layer panel in the front (mesh and blackout). Two side panels are blackout. Back panel is a pocket panel that's double layered which is perfect for us to open up so the camera to check on our child. It's sturdy for the price. Feels more open bc of the shape is higher at the top. We are so hapoy with this purchase. I feel like we can sleep peacefully until our actual medical bed arrives. ... show more
