Bought this for visiting family that use a similar (more expensive) version at home. Pretty easy set up, light weight, and my nephew immediately identified the space as his bed so it felt familiar. Fits perfectly over the mattress and bedding, and my little one loves feeling cozy and safe in his tent-bed! It also solved some bed time anxiety issues we were having. It seems good quality—regular tent poles and a cotton-like cloth material that blocks some draft and light. It does smell like it was made in a factory, and initially that scent was overpowering, but I washed the cloth in the washer/dryer and had no further issues.

Lets start with the negatives. First off, the tent does not come with any mattress. The pictures are a little misleading, since they don't show the item at all by itself. The listing doesn't say it includes a mattress, just they seem to hide the fact it doesn't come with one with the pictures they are using. So just keep that in mind. The lights, they don't come with batteries, not mentioned. And there is really nowhere in the tent to attach the lights to the tent. If you look closely at the pictures, they are using the tie points that would hold open the doors/windows. Not sure how they are attaching the lights to the top of the tent. The instructions don't even mention anything about the lights, it's like they included just as a bonus. Even one of the reviewers here just attached them to the outside of the tent. I do wish there were some sort of hooks inside the tent to hang stuff. Assembly is a pain. Not horrible, just a pain, If you setup a tent before, it's like that, but it is like if Ikea made a tent. You won't be putting it up and taking it down. Tip for assembly, grab a glass of wine before you start and put it together in a room with plenty of space and then move it to the room you want it. With all that said, your kid will still love it. My 5 and 6 yr old nieces thought they were awesome and I guess that is all that matters in the end.

This was the perfect Christmas present for my daughter. It’s of good material quality, perfect for a twin size bed, and blocks out a good amount of light. My daughter finds it very cozy and loves the star lights that were included with it. It has little windows that you can roll up or leave down. Worth the money for sure! It took me about 30 minutes to assemble alone but could have been done faster with two people.

Grandson loves it. Being autistic he's likes his dark hiding space to be alone. Didn't even make sure the bedroom door was closed. Really perfect for what I was looking for. I bought a single mattress and sheets. I guess he likes his bed under the tent.
