I was looking for a comforter that was bigger than we have it’s about an inch bigger all around so it does hang over the sides more but I’m not sure if I’m totally happy with this purchase might have to return it the corners aren’t filled all the way which is really bothering me the one we currently have is filled even the corners! What is the deal with these people? Do they just lie the way other people breathe? The picture used with this "comforter" shows it reaching the floor. The "comforter" I received barely covers the top of my mattress, it is SMALL!!! And the material used is very low quality and lightweight. Initially I loved this comforter. It is noticeably warmer faster than other comforters I had before. And it washes up fine for me, didn't have any trouble with the stitching or the stuffing or any of that like some other folks did. However, after living with how warm this is, I've decided it's a bit too hot for me. Many days my feet will feel too hot--an almost on fire feeling--as the morning approaches, and I won't be able to get back to sleep. I bought some lighter pajamas, and I sleep sometimes with the blanket not covering my upper back and arms, but I still get a bit too hot at the feet. I am considering now what sort of comforter or blanket to get next, because I really need better sleep. ... show more

Description implies this is comparable with a down comforter and it is not even close yes it’s soft but comparable to the everyday comforter u can buy from major department store with blue and yellow logo it’s just like that stores $20-$40 microfiber comforter and for summer weather I would not recommend because this comforter is very very warm I had to buy an actual down all cotton comforter to be cool for this summer but I will likely use this one for upcoming winter would not recommend for anyone who is prone to potential burn hole either because fabric immediately melts almost like u would see in plastic near heat I have wax melt lamps next to bed I know fire hazard but I knocked top off and heat from bulb burnt a hole in fabric as well as bf smoking got it about a construction board thickness away from blanket and fabric melts bad fabric for smokers would not use in kids room just in case of fire because I feel like it wouldn’t be as safe as another fabric option but it’s soft almost like a very soft smoother silk/velvet softest microfiber I’ve used but gets to hot for warmer months not fire retardant in any manner easily burns. ... show more

This product is very comfortable and super toasty! The outer fabric is soft like the sheets from the same maker, the filler inside is soft & springy & doesn't flatten/clump easily, and the whole thing traps heat extremely well. There are loops on the corner for easy duvet attachment. The only "downside" is that if you roll & kick in your sleep, you might throw the comforter off yourself at night bc of the light weight, and if you sleep very warm you may want to forego a lot of other bedding (you won't need it).
