I use these little jars for my all natural lip balm and samples of my products. I love the teal lids as it goes with my labels! The size is perfect for lip balms! The jars are sturdy, not made of cheap plastic and easy to unscrew and fill with product. I have not used them for liquid products so I am not sure if they are completely leak proof but they work great for my purpose. I have bought the 10g and the 5g jars MANY times and will continue to purchase more as I have never had an issue with any one of my orders. I gave 4 stars because I wish they had a deal on purchasing these in bulk.. 40jars is great, but wish they came with more! There are SO many uses for these, crafts, storage of small items, samples, make up, etc that I love having a ton on hand and find myself purchasing very often.. regardless, I love these jars!! This review is for 10 mL clear plastic screw-top containers. These 10mL/10g containers have measured physical dimensions of 1.480 in. (37.6 mm) OD X 0.755 inches (19.2 mm) high (Including cover). The internal size is 1.215 in (30.8 mm) ID X 0.600 in (15.24 mm) internal height. The calculated internal volume is therefore 11.355 mL if completely filled. The screw-on cover tightens and releases fully with only 1/3rd turn, and can be tightened securely. If fact one has to be careful to not over-tighten the cover which can make it difficult to then open it. Each empty container (with cover attached) weighs 9 grams. I use these as protective storage cases for small capacitor microphone capsules to keep dust and moisture from the devices. I add a thin disc of closed cell polyurethane foam cushioning material to each container, and they then make perfect storage containers for the mic capsules. I used these for our wood butter samples. The liquid wasn't too hot when filled and I didn't put the lids on before they cooled, but every sample jar cracked on the lid and through the bottom. Most of the lids just disintegrated like this. Contacted the seller and received no reply.

Two of the 40 containers were cracked when I got them. I threw them away because 40 was more than enough and it was silly to return them all for 2 containers. So I used these for my nail dip powders ... several girls have them and we use them to trade colors or just share with one another. ALL of my powders are leaking everywhere from these containers. Now I have to order different containers, transfer what I can of what's left from my dip powders into the new containers, and then I will be returning these. They're useless. ... show more

they hold things. the lids screw on but there's some weird gap because it leaks but you dont realize it until you open it. like whatever you put in will sit between the jar and the lid then spill out when you unscrew the top. really weird.

Well packaged (see pictures), nothing broken or scuffed. I was worried about the size, but measured my current containers for comparison before ordering. I will be using these for travel sizes of my BareMinerals powders. I attached a picture comparing one of these to the BM pots. The larger two are the standard size foundation and clear radiance. The smaller is a miniature warmth that came with the starter set. These pots are the same size as that miniature pot. I use the case that came with that set, but it's a tight fit for the required powders in their standard sizes with my brushes, Julep eyeshadow sticks, eyeliner and mascara. I'll be transferring the powders into these pots to save space. Silver or gold Avery 1" labels should make these easy to identify and still look classy. ... show more

So I bought these to make my mica more easily accessible. For that purpose they do the job. My problem is I specifically ordered containers that would hold 10 grams as is advertised. There is no way one of these containers holds 10 grams I had 2 opened packets of 5 grams of powder and I had to use 2 containers and still have some left. I have already used some for my glitter so it's to late to return but I'm really upset and these are falsely advertised as far as I am concerned. Will Be buying a bigger size from someone else. ... show more
