I like the size of this little brush. It's nice for traveling as it doesn't take up a lot of room. It's a very fluffy brush. Just like in the advertising picture, you can push it down on a surface and all the bristles will fan out to the sides. In other words, it is NOT one of those super dense face brushes where the bristles don't move very much because of the density. So this is better used for looser finishing powders than applying foundation-type powders. It does not come with a sleeve or anything to protect the bristles while in a makeup bag. That's disappointing. I prefer to have those mesh sleeves for all my brushes. Much neater to travel with and helps to maintain the brush integrity. Hope this helps.

I got this for my daughter-in-law, and the following is her review: I purchased this fluffy, lightweight make-up brush, and it is a nice size, easy to hold, and generally feels well-made. The bristles stay intact with each use, and it seems to gather powder and transfer it easily onto my face. At first glance, I was disappointed as I hoped the bristles would be denser/ compact for finer applications. However, I have come to love it in regards to only using it for loose powder. If you plan to use this brush for products like pressed powders, blush, foundation, etc. I would not recommend it. The bristles are too loose; this brush is mostly effective for giving that more polished look with touches of loose powder.

I like this brush not only for the end results, but for ease of cleaning and its size. Most if my other brushes have had long handles which take up a lot of room in a travel makeup bag. This guy leaves more room for my other stuff. The bristles are very soft, so comfortable on my skin. Application is easy with a comfortable handle.

I love new powder brushes. I got this for only powder, not liquid or creamy foundations. The brush is soft, if you put it directly on your face it can also be prickly. You kind of need to use it more sideways a little. Then I feel like you don't get the prickly feeling. It is small enough to travel with. The handle is small and compact. The brush is sturdy and looks like the synthetic fibers are secure in the brush.

i've never tried a kabuki brush before but i've heard really good things so i decided to try it. i cant believe i've never tried one of these before, this one is amazing !! i use it to blend out my blush on my upper cheekbones and nose and a little on my chin and forehead and it looks better than with any other tool. i've tried using my hands, a beauty blender, and a blush brush, and none have compared to this. this put my powder blush on like a dream, it's so smooth and blends so so well. it looks natural and not harsh or fake, just a really nice natural look. you could use it for more vibrant blush and pack on more color, but i prefer a lighter sunkissed look. this brush could do it all, i love it and i use it every time i do my makeup, i wouldn't be able to go back to my old routine without this because i'm such a fan. it's so soft and nice and i love my little brush

This brush is great. It provides good powder blush and powder foundation coverage. I prefer it for setting (a.k.a. finishing) powder or powder bronzer. I also love that the synthetic bristles do not fall out. The only negative is that the tiny nub of a handle is harder to hold than a typical foundation brush. Other than this, this brush is lovely. The current price of $11.99 is on the high side of competitively priced.

I've been using this to apply foundation powder and it works really well! The bristles are soft and pick up enough product to spread across my face. It's small and light, easy to throw into a purse for on the go. I like the short handle because I can place it flat on a surface when I'm doing my makeup. Overall, just the brush I needed!
