The few closed shoes that I have bought claiming to have toe room either didn't or they looked ridiculous! These are fantastic and super cute! . I wear a 12, bought a 13 (which is very hard to find). They fit great with or without socks. They are warm and comfy and do not bother my toes in the least - plenty of room. I can't answer for walking on ice as of yet but I will update at that time.

I love these shortie boots. Actually, I love all the Bear Paw products I have purchased. They compare to Uggs brand in quality and style but are more reasonably priced. They are comfortable and will keep my feet nice and warm this winter. They arrived in a timely manner and were well packaged.

I went with Bearpaw over Ugg due to the price difference and I've always thought Bearpaw was more durable. These are very cute and keep my feet warm. Only downside is the ankle area is a tight squeeze, I have a hard time getting them in with socks so I often wear them barefoot. Even someone with a thin foot and ankle struggled to pull them on. Maybe they will loosen up as they get broken in.
