  • Cheep FAKE slippers - DO NOT BUY THESE!!!
I can't believe they are selling these!! They are cheep China fakes. Using the outline of the item …. These are NOT 100% Suede - there is NO Suede at all - some type of synthetic something that is suppose to look like suede maybe??? These have nothing to do with SHEEP and everything to do with cheep CHINA fake crap!!!. Rubber Sole: These do NOT have a Rubber sole - they have a cheep plastic sole that does not flex. Shearling Lined: These are NOT Shearling lined but lined with cheep polyester something. I opened the box, took one look and knew they were something you would fine at the dollar store. I immediately went to my laptop and started the return process and printed the return label. I can't believe Amazon is allowing these to be sold on their site. What a shame! ... show more

  • Cute but Uncomfortable
These are darling-cute slippers, they are eye appealing but they are flat, there's absolutely no bounce or give in the foot bed/sole. I have an old pair of EMU slippers that have incredible bounce in the sole (they are at least 3 years old and still very supportive/comfortable.) In a side by side comparison the EMU has a thick spongy layer whereas the Bearpaw has nothing but the flat plastic sole. If you're looking for something cute that you won't wear for comfort the Bearpaw is all that but if you want warmth AND comfort look for something like the EMU. ... show more

  • Don’t use this seller !
Size: 11 Color: Hickory Ii
One of my slippers arrived and is clearly not made as well as the other. I’ve been wearing BearPaws for years and years & haven’t encountered this issue. I’d only had the slippers for several weeks and one slipper is practically brand new in appearance and structure, while the other is as pictured above. It’s totally falling apart. Contacting the seller was very disappointing. They simply said sorry that it was past 30 days. Disappointed in their business ethics! They must engage with counterfeit products since they’re unwilling to contact the manufacturer. They weren’t even interested in what the issue is! ... show more

  • 2x more expensive for 1/2 the quality
Size: 8 Color: Hickory Ii
Expensive and mid-range quality. The insoles wear thin in a couple of months. You can get a better pair at Target for half the price and they will last twice as long. I used to buy my slippers at Target and they'd last about 6-9 months. I wear them ALL THE TIME at home. When Target stopped carrying my favorite slippers, I bought Bear Paws. They're $40 instead of the $15 I used to pay at Target, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, these BearPaw slippers wore thin on the insole in a couple of months. Thankfully, Target now has my favorite slippers back in stock. It seems like they get them around Christmas time and don't have them the rest of the year. I recommend you go to Target and buy these instead: Women's Chandra Suede Scuff Slippers - Mossimo Supply Co. (Go a size large, because the thick fur inside makes them run a bit small.) ... show more

  • Turns out, Bearpaw sells garbage now.
Size: 10 Color: Hickory Ii
Something has gone very very wrong with this brand. I have always loved Bearpaw shoes. My last pair of Bearpaw slippers felt absolutely perfect (looked old and grody, but felt perfect) from July 2016 to July 2021, when the uppers finally came apart from the soles and couldn't be fixed. I have foot damage from autoimmune disease and need the cushioned, supportive footbed that Bearpaw USED TO have, so I was psyched about getting these. What I recieved has absolutely no cushion between the hard plastic soles and the footbed. That footbed is made of fleece so thin and processed it feels synthetic, with no loft or density whatsover. It would be painful for a healthy person to walk in, let alone me - ridges in the plastic dig into the bottom of my foot. It's like an entire piece of the shoe was accidentally not sewn in (or was intentionally omitted by the manufacturer to save money) and they just slapped this crappy thin fleece directly over the outsole so it LOOKS nice. The outside bottom of the shoe is nicer and squishier than the part your feet rest on. And this thin junky fleece is stitched in, so you can't salvage the slippers by pulling the crap sole out and replacing it with a better-quality insole. About them looking nice... the stitching is irregular. Not "hand-crafted" irregular, it should never have passed QA. The toe of the right slipper is so out of round, it's pointed. If these didn't hurt to walk in, I wouldn't care much, but they do look weird. The overprocessed, bleached, thin, faux-fur texture of the "natural" fleece feels kind of gross to someone who... you know... paid for natural sheepskin because they like NATURAL sheepskin. Oh, and it's a good thing I got these slippers in July, because I live in the mountains and at 71*F they were already unimpressive at keeping my feet warm. So if they didn't hurt to walk in, they would have worked until... maybe... the end of September. The parts that don't actively cause me pain are true to size, so there's that. Yes they are authentic Bearpaw - they shipped direct from Bearpaw. They're just garbage. W T actual F, Bearpaw. We get that companies, factories, sheep farmers, *everybody* got hit hard by the pandemic. But this looks an awful lot like you're trying to hand the cost off to your customers. You just lost one. ... show more

  • Once the Best, Not Now
Size: 10 Color: Hickory
I loved these at first. I had a pair from about 3 years ago & they were great. Lasted a long time & I ended up putting insoles in as I loved them & still wear them. Bought a new pair & the fluff has changed. I bought these just about 2 weeks ago & already, there is a clumping of the fluff on the bed & they are uncomfortable to wear just because of that. I had to return as I could not put new insoles in as I did with my first pair but the clumping/matting was still there even with a nice, gel insole. There was no saving these. It's too bad that Bearpaw has ruined a once super-good slipper. The bed of this slipper is hard, with the fluff matted down & clumping, they are unwearable as well. I am trying the RJ's Fuzzy Leather slippers & so far, they feel good, the fluff is real wool which seems to have made a big difference. ... show more
