I own a pair of white Boetis Bearpaw which I purchased from HSN. So I knew to size up for a perfect fit. HSN had sold out of my the black boots, which is why I searched Amazon. The Bearpaw store prices change constantly, which I don’t understand. These boots went from $160. 00 to $171.00 in a couple of days. I really wanted the black so I purchased the boots. I’ve been wanting these boots for a while because I love the look and have a few bear paws already. These are super comfortable as well as stylish. I get compliments all the time. I do however, keep them stored in their box. Just a suggestion so they stay clean and don’t mat when I’m not wearing them.

I am an 8 in regular shoes and usually an 8.5 for boots to have room for thick socks. I ordered the 8 and 9 as there aren't half sizes and ended up with a 9 which fits perfectly with socks. These boots look so great on and they are super comfy, I got the white but might also need the black.

I poured over the every review before buying as I'm a true 8.5. I wasn't sure if I should get an 8 or a 9 since there are no half sizes. I opted for the 9 since I could wear a sock if need be (I prefer to wear no sock with shearling lined boots and keep powder to sprinkle a bit in the foot bed now and then even though I'm not prone to, "stinky feet" :) These ran a bit large on me, but will be fine with a mid weight sock. I believe an 8 might have been a tad small, but not certain. I was fortunate to get this boot at 20% off with a coupon and the price was AMAZING given what I've seen them advertised for. The, "fur" is lovely and even length on both boots and no matting or other. I think they are lovely. I guess I'm glad I went up to a 9 as the fit is easily remedied with a sock which I'm not happy about, but LOVE THIS BOOT! I'm 50 and they remind me of the old ABBA days, but not as straight haired shaggy, but billowy lovely soft fur. Living in a very cold climate and damp and snowy really wanted the white, but at 50 didn't want to push it and I generally wear black leggings around to the grocery and shopping the mall so that is my intention for these. The white may dirty to much in this environment even though I'm tempted to get another pair before the coupon expires?? Don't hesitate on this boot and I guess if you are a half size person like myself, better to be a smidgen big then too small....put on the mid weight sock and rock em! SO DANG CUTE! UPDATE: I wore these for the past few days and when I made the review I had not. I have had at least 5 RAVING comments about how incredible these are (all different types of folks from young to elderly) each time I have worn them. I got them with a discount offered with the first pair and the price was insane. I got black originally and just went on line and got the charcoal in the 8 hoping they fit is a tad smaller and HOPING they aren't too short as in my toes toward the front. I really wanted the white, but with all the snow and slush we get in the winter where I am I went for the charcoal. Hoping the fur is just as lovely as my first pair. NO CLUE why the coupon for 25 off didn't work this time and did last so boo hoo, but worth it as the price here is still better with PRIME than elsewhere unless you want white! GET THEM you won't be disappointed really comfy, toasty and a compliment magnet which made me a bit shy at first :(

The Uggs i have were taller and had thicker, fluffier sheepskin all the way down to the soles, but the soles were made of some kind of polyurethane, so it started breaking off, especially when it sat in storage for too long. I was told the soles cannot be fixed and i can't find another pair so i bought these. The colour is whiter than my previous one but it's still shaggy looking and best of all, the soles are made of thick rubber and will last longer. They are also comfortable to walk in and i had no difficulty getting them on or removing them, of which i'm pleased.
