These looked great and I had a wonderful time wearing them around the ski-in ski-out resort we stayed at on our last ski trip. These boots definitely get you noticed and it was great fun raking in the compliments. However, the next trip was to a hotel that was not ski-in, ski-out and we were going to be constantly walking through slushy parking lots, clambering through snowdrifts and tromping down snowy sidewalks to get to dinner, etc. I called the company before the trip to see if there was some way to waterproof/stainproof these for outdoor wear. That was a hard no. They said treating the boots with any such treatment, even the one they make for their other boots, would ruin them. So these are fashion boots only, I'm afraid. I poured over the every review before buying as I'm a true 8.5. I wasn't sure if I should get an 8 or a 9 since there are no half sizes. I opted for the 9 since I could wear a sock if need be (I prefer to wear no sock with shearling lined boots and keep powder to sprinkle a bit in the foot bed now and then even though I'm not prone to, "stinky feet" :) These ran a bit large on me, but will be fine with a mid weight sock. I believe an 8 might have been a tad small, but not certain. I was fortunate to get this boot at 20% off with a coupon and the price was AMAZING given what I've seen them advertised for. The, "fur" is lovely and even length on both boots and no matting or other. I think they are lovely. I guess I'm glad I went up to a 9 as the fit is easily remedied with a sock which I'm not happy about, but LOVE THIS BOOT! I'm 50 and they remind me of the old ABBA days, but not as straight haired shaggy, but billowy lovely soft fur. Living in a very cold climate and damp and snowy really wanted the white, but at 50 didn't want to push it and I generally wear black leggings around to the grocery and shopping the mall so that is my intention for these. The white may dirty to much in this environment even though I'm tempted to get another pair before the coupon expires?? Don't hesitate on this boot and I guess if you are a half size person like myself, better to be a smidgen big then too small....put on the mid weight sock and rock em! SO DANG CUTE! UPDATE: I wore these for the past few days and when I made the review I had not. I have had at least 5 RAVING comments about how incredible these are (all different types of folks from young to elderly) each time I have worn them. I got them with a discount offered with the first pair and the price was insane. I got black originally and just went on line and got the charcoal in the 8 hoping they fit is a tad smaller and HOPING they aren't too short as in my toes toward the front. I really wanted the white, but with all the snow and slush we get in the winter where I am I went for the charcoal. Hoping the fur is just as lovely as my first pair. NO CLUE why the coupon for 25 off didn't work this time and did last so boo hoo, but worth it as the price here is still better with PRIME than elsewhere unless you want white! GET THEM you won't be disappointed really comfy, toasty and a compliment magnet which made me a bit shy at first :( ... show more

these are very cute, i got a lot of compliments when i wore them for the first time. now the only issue i have is the right boot fits slightly tighter than the left boot which is really weird but other than that they’re perfect

These boots are gorgeous and unique, however they run small. I had to return them and am waiting for them to go back down to the price I paid so that I can re-buy them in the next size up. I have three other Bearpaw brand boots which fit in my normal size, but this style is definitely smaller by a size. (They only come in whole sizes.) Order one size up! ... show more

I own a pair of white Boetis Bearpaw which I purchased from HSN. So I knew to size up for a perfect fit. HSN had sold out of my the black boots, which is why I searched Amazon. The Bearpaw store prices change constantly, which I don’t understand. These boots went from $160. 00 to $171.00 in a couple of days. I really wanted the black so I purchased the boots. The day my order arrived, the Bearpaw store was selling the same boots in the same color and size for $149.00. What the??? A $22.00 DECREASE? I’m sending them back. ... show more
