It feels a little wider. It'd be a lot better but it's still nice. It works but it's good. It'd be great with beers and it says for beers but if you want to cut your hair it needs to be wider and most people will cut their beard and hair together

I’ve tried a few hair catchers since I cut my own hair and they’re all pretty much the same basic concept. The vinyl on this is a bit thicker and feels more solid than some of the cheaper ones I’ve tried which are extremely thin. The beard hair rolls off pretty easily during cleanup. The only thing is that all of these hair catchers are so wide. I don’t have some extravagant bathroom with large mirrors. It’s just a small mirror so there’s a reasonable gap and looseness to it, especially at the edge of the mirror, and the catching area is a bit narrow. You can sort of position it flat against the mirror and widen it a little but it has a tendency to become loose so there’s hair that can fly off a bit when using an electric trimmer and not catch properly. But it’s not too bad and it still does a decent job and makes hair cleanup a whole lot easier. ... show more
