I love having a cotton shower curtain because they're easy to wash and they are more biodegradable than the plastic ones. They don't tend to grow mold and you can just toss it in the laundry with some bleach or oxy clean. It is very thick and substantial sturdy material and I do like that it is made in the USA. however, you are paying a premium for that.

I’m so happy to finally have a non toxic shower curtain made of natural materials. I am careful to spread it out after showering and then let it hang on the outside of the tub once it has stopped dripping as suggested. So far it dries quickly so I don’t think I will have a problem with mildew. My shower does not get constant use. I’m not sure how well it would work with a shower that is used multiple times every day without a chance to dry out fully but for me it is perfect.

I have no issues with the fabric and quality of this shower curtain. It washes up nicely and I air dry it to minimize shrinkage. I wanted a plain white 100% cotton outer shower curtain and this was really the only option on Amazon that came in a 36” size l needed for my shower stall. I’m disappointed that it only has 5 grommets / hanging holes instead of the standard 6 for this size; I have to fold my liner at one end to double it over for its 6th hole to get it to match this curtain’s weird 5-hole profile, which causes my liner to mildew more quickly. I find this frustrating and disappointing since it’s the only available option for a plain white cotton shower curtain in this size, and it makes no sense to me why it would be made in such an oddly non-standard hole configuration.

I ordered the cotton one. I saw in the comments that it should shrink. I decided to try using it at least once before washing. It was 74" long which meant it was lying on the floor of the tub. (Water did not go through it, which was good.) After the shower, it was extremely wet and drippy. I waited a while to hang it outside the tub above a floor mat - but that still got extremely wet. I had hoped it would shrink after being wet. It did not. It dried so very slowly that I worried it would get moldy. So, I pulled it down and put it through a warm wash cycle, and dried it partially on Med High in the dryer. It did not shrink at all! Even though a label included with the shipment asserted that it would. It is still 74" long. It is pretty enough for my needs, and I am not willing to hem it nor to let it hang damp inside the tub to dry. So I added a white nylon shower curtain of the proper length for inside the tub and let this hang outside. This was not ideal, but I'll live with it.

I love the natural material and its the reason why I bought it . Its also pretty but it dries slow and gets this smelly wet rag smell . There has to be a way to dry more effectively . I spent over 60$ On a shower curtain and I will have stop using it because I am passed the return date…

We washed this curtain upon arrival as suggested per instructions on a gentle cycle. One of the metal hole protectors popped off during that wash cycle. We have tried to get in touch with the company but so far no luck. It is still a decent curtain and we do love the non-toxicity of it, but be aware that it is much more work and upkeep than a normal shower curtain.

This was my third order. Is it perfect? No. But when you order a natural material you have to expect issues. I ordered this because it was eco friendly and non-toxic. It does keep the water inside the shower, as long as the curtain stays in the shower. It washes up nicely. I hang it outside to dry and it doesn't shrink. But if you throw it in the dryer, it will shrink. It feels and looks cozy in my bathroom.
