I really recommend this type of glue if you like to decorate your cups it will definitely do the job iv done a couple of mine already and had tested them out by washing it with hot water and the rhinestones are still all intact none have fallen off and very easy to use and dries within like 15 to 20 minutes I put it in a heater and was a Lil faster to dry and the glue will go clear after it dries so it won't look messy if you spilled some glue in other spots or messed up !! ... show more

I never used this glue before so I gave the "adhesion" category a 4-star rating because I don't know how well it will hold up yet, BUT this stuff is excellent. It has no bad toxic smell at all, just a faint regular Elmer's glue smell and the same type of consistency. The glue is slow drying but if you spread it super thin it dries a bit faster. I waited about 2 minutes before laying down my rhinestones so they wouldn't "follow" my jewel picker once I set them in the glue. This method worked great with this product AND glue dries completely clear, even if you put too much by accident. I glue rhinestones on my dance costumes. I had been using E6000, which is some stinky, nasty stuff. Even using it outside with a mask, I’d feel sick. A costumer designer I know told me she uses gem tac so I gave it a shot. I was able yo use it in the house without a mask. (Note: You do need to let your item sit for 24 hours! This is not a fast drying product.) On one costume half my rhinestones were glued with e6000 and on the other half I used gemtac. They both held up fine. I used the gemtac to glue rhinestones on both Lycra and on a cotton shirt and they stayed put. I’m happy with the result and will use this again! ... show more

    • Great glue, but DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

(I am writing this through my boyfriend's Amazon account) I run a small shop where I bedazzle things, primarily sunglasses. I use a combination of E6000, GemTac, and "rhinestone glue" by Darice, depending on the project. GemTac has absolutely been the easiest one to use, which is why I gave it 4 stars overall. I have bought this product multiple times from this exact same listing, and never had a problem; HOWEVER, the last 2 times, my GemTac has arrived hardened, to the point that it is unusable. The first time this happened, it was only the first half inch of the bottle, so I was able to salvage most of it, but my second bottle (which arrived this morning) was cured and hardened - I can only use about half of this second bottle. I noticed several reviews in here talking about something similar, and it makes me wonder if GemTac is not being produced anymore, and these are all older bottles? I'm not certain, but either way, I am unhappy and will be sticking to E6000 until I find somewhere else to buy GemTac locally. ... show more
