Not even supportable up to 225#. Someone had posted in a review that it was more for children than adults, true statement. Very short seat area from the fanny to the mid-thigh, so if you are a kid or a very short man or woman who weighs less than 200#, it's probably useful. Otherwise, FORGET these chairs. I'm 5'7, 145# and husband is 6'1 and 190#. Neither of us were comfortable sitting in these poor quality chairs. Very thin bag they come in, won't last long after a couple of times using it and the frame is not that strong, certainly not strong enough to support 225# for long. Can't imagine sitting in them and not worrying the frame won't collapse and down you go to the ground. OUCH! Back they went. ... show more

For the price I think this chair is a good purchase. The only downfall is you really do feel the bar when you're sitting after a while so they could have done a better job like cushioning that so you don't feel it as much but overall the chair is comfy it's very lightweight I like to just leave it in my car just in case I need a quick chair to sit on while I'm out.
