  • Great, but...
It is beautiful and a quality item. I love it so far. However, I really thought it was full size for the crib. It is not. It's smaller and doesn't fit any mattress other than the Beaba provided one. That's where it lost a star for me. I feel like I spent too much on this. I love it, but it's definitely too pricey. I did search a lot for an alternative of similar quality and didn't find anything. I love that I can have this right next to my bed. I love that there are no slats where my daughter can get stuck. I like how compact it is. Overall, it will serve its purpose and look good. I suppose, for that, it was worth the spend. ... show more

  • One of the best looking bedside crib but not as functional as the alternative
If design, quality and expendability is on your list for a bedside crib this will tick you boxes ► Build Quality & Design We had a few of these bedside cribs and I must say this one looks the best. The build quality is pretty good, though it's not full wood but somewhat of a better quality Ikea style MDF. Nonetheless, it's not fiddly and it is meant to be taken apart (for storage or installing extension). Legs are made of smooth quality plastic and there is a place underneath to put some lightweight items like stuffies or blankets. the grey fabric and white frame looks good together. The crib mattress feels a bit to soft and thin but sits on a flat wood plate which would be fine. the fabric is soft and nice but in this price range I would expected it to be Organic. Two side are mesh which allow circulation and the ability to see your baby from laying down position ► Assembly Unlike some other brands, like Chico next-to-me, this would be a sort of an Ikea like assembly adventure. Lot's of steps and you can make mistakes which will make you disassemble it and reassemble it... Regardless, following the instructions it around 30min or so from opening the package to get it up. it will take a bit more time if you assemble it with the provided extension kit. The legs, though adjustable in height (you get a conversation chart to which position you need based on you bed height) will require a tool, where other brands would be just a matter of pressing some button to adjust the height or angle. ► Usage As bedside crib it's pretty simple. After getting the height right, you will secure it to the bed with the provided straps which will fit slate or spring base bed frames and you are ready to go. It will take a while getting used to remove and reattach the bar on the opening side as the fit is quite tight but I rather have it secure than easily opened by kids. It design to sit lower than your mattress so even if it's open it's still safe. As mentioned before, if you need to adjust the angle (for example raising the head) you will need to some tool to adjust the legs. Not very hard but if you are doing it on a daily basis it's will be annoying. there are two zippers on each side that needs to be unzipped to put the bar into place. ► Extension: Bedside Crib -> Full Size Crib Back to work, you will need to unscrew quite a lot to attached the frame extensions, some frame stabilizers, new bars and the full size crib sides. Around another 20-30min of work but it's not something that will be change regularly. It does however save you from buying a completely new crib for toddlers. The Design is the same (without the dropdown of the bedside version) but you might miss the extra inner height adjustment some full size cribs have. It still look pretty nice as a full size crib with the side mesh and same fabric color and quality. It also comes with a matching mattress. ◉ Pros: Design, Quality, Bedside->Full Size Crib, Fits 6 months - 2 Years ◉ Cons: Assembly, Adjustability, Larger foot print, Price! Let's be honest, although you get the full extension capabilities, this product is aimed for design conscious parents. You will get a much easier to use and probably better functional bedside/full size crib for a cheaper price but if design is high on your list this will be a great fit. It won't only look great but be functional as well ... show more

  • It is about design of this crib and not the value to money!
I was excited to try this but have mixed feelings about it after using it for some time now. I have owned bed-side sleepers bassinet before as well and so my experience with this product is comparative to all such products that I have used before. This product is about design, classiness, and looks. It is functional but not with an added advantage over the less expensive options. I would defer recommending this product. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Very functional product. Crib + bedside co-sleeper but I would stick with co-sleeper as we have a crib and that provides more space for baby to be relaxing with that extra room to play around - Overall very good built quality including the fabrics and the mesh used - Mattress pad is very soft and thick (Comes with both infant and full-sized mattresses) - Looks very fancy in white/cream light tone modern finish. It definitely comes in the premium and luxurious category - Loved the design. Gives a great aesthetic in the home and modern looks are the key feature of it - Build is solid and seems very strong and durable - 7 adjustable heights as per your convenience - All parts and accessories included in the box Cons: - Way too expensive for this design aesthetics. I wouldn't say it delivers value to money. There are many better options that are reasonably priced - Assembly is not an easy one. It takes some effort as other wooden full-sized cribs - Converting infant to full size takes good effort again - No rollers to move it around if you are planning to use it as a co-sleeper. No portability advanatage ... show more

  • beautiful
BEABA by Shnuggle Air Complete Sleep System requires assembly, but it is straightforward and doing it yourself you can ensure that it's done right. You start out with a bassinet and then can expand it to full-size crib. Both are beautiful and solid, both have a comfortable mattress, and mesh sides that allow you to see your little one at all times. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the mesh (vs fabric for the bassinet or wooden slats for the crib), but I LOVE it! It allows the air through better than padded fabric sides of a traditional bassinet, and it eliminates the danger of little one's limbs getting stuck between the slats (something that we faced quite often with daughter #1). I really like the look and feel of Beaba: it looks modern and sophisticated. ... show more

  • This is a very nice crib!
I got this for my spare bedroom so my new granddaughters could use as the stayed over. It is really nice and they slept like babies. It was easy to assemble and I think that it’s neat that it can go from one size to a full size crib!
