Not as heat resistant as I would of hoped. I won’t burn myself but I have other gloves that I feel less heat. If the pan is super hot like just came out of the oven, it will feel hot and you’ll want to put down after 20 seconds. I do like they up up your arm though so that is nice.

I was replacing a worn set of BBQ gloves. I did not notice these came in long and short with I think refers to the length of the cuff. However, these are very big for a woman, the fingers are at least one inch over my last glove. But that being said, they are nice quality, very comfortable. I belong to a men's cooking ministry that smokes brisket to feed the homeless. We smoke up to 25 at a time. After 5 hours on the smoker, we pull, wrap in aluminum foil, and return to the smoker. I love these gloves because they fit my small woman's size hands, and are tactile enough to handle and pour hot liquids from jars. They are a bit large but very flexible and the silicone inserts make them super grippy. I tried lifting a hot 23-quart pressure cooker to drain our liquids using oven mitts, and a towel and thought there must be a better solution. and these have been a lifesaver because the longer length protected my forearms as well. After using these a few times I'll never go back to oven mitts again I highly recommend them. ... show more
