I’ve been using them not only for grilling but also for everyday kitchen tasks like boiling milk, taking hot pots out of the microwave, or lifting lids from steaming pans — and they work perfectly every single time. Good quality product at a good price!

Over the years, I've had lots of oven mitts. But now, I was searching for gloves instead, since the mitts lacked the dexterity I always yearned for. So after reading many, many online reviews, I happened upon these gloves, and they sounded good. I ordered two pairs, so that when one gets dirty and needs to be washed, I'll have a clean one ready to go. They come in two colors, either black or red. I got both pairs of my gloves in red, since they kinda look cool, in a Spiderman(ish) way! (Btw, that's the first thing my wife said, when she saw me wear them.) As far as performance goes, they have kept my hands safe from heat burns; and since they have long cuffs, they helped keep my forearms from accidental contact burns too (by my measurement, the gloves are 14" long from the tip of the middle finger to the end of the cuffs). They have a universal fit, and I have large hands which the gloves fit comfortably. What I like the most is the good grip and dexterity I get when using these gloves. With all the oven mitts, I always had a fear of the dish/pan slipping out of my hands. But with these, I feel confident handling hot kitchenware of any size! I've used my first pair for over a couple of weeks now, and it feels durable and well-made. The gloves come with many pairs of food-prep type gloves included for free, which is a nice add-on. I haven't had to wash the gloves yet, but it says to just rub some dishwashing liquid on it and rinse. I'm debating whether I could throw them in the washing machine. So far, so good!

Bulky but useful.

Don't believe for one second these could handle 1472 degree heat, but for pulling things out to the oven, they work fine. I can feel the heat after around 20 seconds, I held on just to see how long. It was longer than anyone would need to hold on to something being pulled out of oven before the warmth started seeping through. But very useful, albeit a bit bulky.

Best outdoor cooking gloves

Will never cook on my blackstone griddle without these gloves ever again. Although a little thick for its heat resistant ability, they are very comfortable and I am able to maneuver my tools cooking hibachi on my griddle with ease. They feel natural after a while and you don't realize you have them on, except your forearms and hands are not warm in the least from the scorching heat from the griddle. I was surprised on how well it kept the heat at bay. Great value as well, as they are worth more than price marked (around $10). Will definitely recommend, I don't think I will have to buy again. Hope these will last a long time.

No more burns!!

I bought these gloves for my husband for Christmas. We like to make paella on our outdoor grill and the pan gets Really hot! My son uses these gloves and so I thought it would be a good idea to get them for my husband to try out. Needless to say, we have not made paella since Christmas, however, before Christmas, I made a huge dish of scallop potatoes. The dish was really heavy and hot! we were fumbling around for the best potholders to use to get it out of the oven without burning our hands, and I remembered I had these gloves in my husbands, stocking. I pulled them out, he put them on, and pull that hot dish out of the oven with no problem at all! These gloves are amazing! I would highly recommend them for anyone who does outdoor cooking or just need to have confidence when removing hot items from the oven! I am looking forward to seeing him in action at our next paella party!

Very good gloves

I have a Traeger and gas BBQ and bought these to help when needing to handle hot things while grilling. I was pleasantly surprised with how functional these gloves were. They are very good quality and block a lot of heat for how thin they are. Meaning my finger still have enough dexterity in them. I expected them to be more thick (a bad thing here). Was able to handle over and BBQ grill grates what were extremely hot. I also doubled a nitrate "rubber" glove up on this to make cutting up a turkey very easy and not burn my hands. All in all I'm 1,000% satisfied with my purchase.

Love hate deal

I love the fact that they are gloves and they fit nicely and work great for an OVEN, but as for the grill....I dont think so, I use cast iron A LOT and well I sometimes crank my grill to 500 degrees and wel that cast iron skillet is HOT to say the least. These gloves DO NOT work, I made it inside m back door and had to put the skillet down, so maybe 1 min hoding the skillet, the cast iron rubber grips work better so I decided to use the rubber grips witht he gloves and works out great. They come off real easy when a dog wants to play and they grab your glove and pull it off and take off running with it, but they are not dog proof when a dog wants to play with it. After about 40 uses the rubber on the gloves are really worn off, still works fine against the heat but just slips off more.
