I bought this to go with my Bayou classic sp10 outdoor deep fryer and let me tell you, this is the best set of pots on the market. The handle came disassembled in a separate bag which was easy to affix using a screw driver. Included in the package,was the 14 quart deep fryer pot with strainer and even a top.The 14 quart deep fryer was big enough to fry over a dozen of wing flings at a time in less then 20 mins. The chicken came out crispy and a lovely golden brown color. But the fried fish..OMG that was the talk of the cookout. The fish came out crunchy and the best golden color fish I have ever seen. The fish cooked in under 15 mins for servings for up to 10 people at a time. One big bottle of oil was able to last me all night to cook a 20 lb bag of wing flings and 8 lbs of whitings fish. clean up was a breeze. A little soap and water went a long way. I will defiantly be purchasing more pots and pans from this brand again for my next cookout I will be steaming crab legs. I will keep you guys updated on how that works out. ... show more

Ignore the other review of burning a hole in the bottom. Simple reminder....put the oil/water in before you turn the burner on. Any high output burner will burn a hole in this or any thin aluminum pot without any liquid in it......use your head....its thin aluminum. Nice size, cleans up easy and is light weight which is nice IMO. Recommend. ... show more

    • its a aluminium pot that is not ideal for frying
the pot is a nice size and the basket is great but the lid does not fit with the basket inside and the material is very prone to warping and doesnt retain heat very well

Very sturdy aluminum, and basket. Reasonable cost. Only negative was that the handles on the sides had some sharp burrs. I piece of sandpaper can smooth them right down, but it shouldn’t have arrived that way.
