Purchased these to go in my bathroom over my toilet to hold some decorative items. And I love them. They're great quality. They're not huge just so you're aware I don't ever read the sizes of things so I just assumed looking at the pictures. They're gonna be a little bit bigger but actually we're perfect size. I would definitely purchase them again. Installation was a little off, but it wasn't because of the product. Great quality, easy installation! Just make sure if you’re putting it into drywall without studs, you’ll need to get some drywall anchors (any hardware store will have them) because the ones they come with don’t work for drywall! But once we figured that out it was easy from there! We chose to put 2 of the shelves into the corner of the wall and one above that, because it fit our bathroom area best! The shelves are nice, at least conceptually. One of mine came with a chip. (Update: the seller offered me a full refund, even though I didn't ask for one, so I increased the star rating.) The packaging was fine, so it must have left the factory that way. The shelves come with all the mounting hardware you need, unless you are mounting them on drywall. The instructions say that the anchors are good for wood or concrete but not drywall. The shelves are made in China but sold in a US market where an estimated 90+% of household interior walls are drywall, <1% are concrete, and 1-3% are non structural wood paneling. You might hit wood if you look for a beam though. Why sell a product when there's a 90% chance that the hardware is wrong? The anchors might work on drywall anyway but don't say that they didn't warn you. There is some flex in the support once mounted, but these are made for lightweight objects. These shelves are awesome! We hung up ours in our game room and they have been sitting undisturbed for almost a year now. There is a lot of room on each shelf and it was really easy to install. The black wood grain finish is very classy.

I've bought 2x. First set, awesome and Very sturdy . This new set, barely holds itself on the wall with nothing on it. Big difference in the supplies provided. I'm giving a 3 as average between the 1st set which was 5 star easily and this last set which is a 0 star at best. 5 lbs might even be too much on the most recent sets. Smh ... show more

    • Sturdy Shelves that are easy to put up!

These shelves are very easy to install and comes with a very sturdy bracket. The only piece preventing them from being 5 stars is that the wall anchors they give you are flimsy and very very cheap. I ended up buying and using better drywall anchors better suited for the bracket, screws, and shelf weight. Once attached, they are very sturdy. I mainly have Lego projects on them so not a tremendous amount of weight but based on stability, I have no doubt they can hold the amount they list with easy. One small complaint - they put a white product sticker on the bottom corner of each shelf. Its very sticky and hard to peel off and once you do, it leaves a residue. So you have to use either goo-gone type product or I used a plastic razor blade to scrape them off. Kinda unsightly when you have them up high enough to see the bottoms of the shelves. Overall I do recommend and will buy them again if ever in need. ... show more
