I don't know if the Canadian size 7 is equivalent to the US size 8, but these fit perfectly. I've had a pair of Bauer skates for over 30 years, and they finally fell apart - the plastic all cracked. So, for about $100, I bought these, and they're not going to break the bank. I can actually take my old skate liners and use them on these skates, since these don't have separate liners.
