This 9 x 13” tray fits perfectly on the arms of my sofa. It is made of solid bamboo wood. The good sized legs fit snugly on the arm, held in place by the heavy duty spring loaded silver hardware hinges (attached). It comes with a non-slip covering on the bottom and inside walls of the legs. The tray also comes with a small wooden device holder that can be attached with the included screwdriver and screws however, I am choosing not to use it. This tray is just what I was looking for. The reason for the 4 stars is that there are several round indentations about the size of a dime across the top of the tray.

I've been shopping for these for some time. I have an end table, but my living room is a bit small, so I wanted to get rid of extra furniture. really, all you need is a solid place to put down a cup of coffee and/or a remote. done and done. this little "table" feels solid on the arm. and it's as easy as opening the arms and letting the springs keep it there. I deducted one star because there's no way to adjust how it fits. the armrest on my couch is thinner than the table. because it's spring-loaded, each little table arm pulls evenly. and the table ends up centered on the armrest. not a huge deal, but it means that the table sticks out over the seat a bit. ...which in turn means that the arm is sticking into your leg. if I could figure out a way to offset the table so it was flush with the armrest on the inside and the excess was on the outside, this would be 5 stars. while it remains centered and a bit in the way, it's still 4.

The product itself is a nice wood and the hinges work real well to clamp on arm rest. It holds an small plate as shown in my picture and the picture in the product description, so if you want a dinner plate you will have no room for a drink. Other than that it’s really nice.

This tray is a bit on the smaller side but is adequate to hold a snack a soda and your phone or tablet. It has a rubber backing to assist the tray upright and not slip. My sofa has wide arms so it holds okay, but the grip is not too strong, so it might not hold well on narrower sofas. It is easy to assemble the phone holder and it even brings a small Phillips screwdriver! nice touch. The tray seems sturdy and good for many uses.

I never knew I needed a couch arm tray until I got one. My mom kept losing her ipad, phone, and remote while watching TV and doing laundry, so I bought her one. Then decided to try one out for myself. Now, I can't imagine my life without it! The Batteo Couch Arm Tray is a simple but brilliant invention. It's a bamboo tray that attaches to the armrest of your couch, giving you a convenient place to put your drinks, snacks, remote control, phone, and anything you don't want getting tucked into the couch cushions. The tray is adjustable, so it can fit on a variety of armrests. It's also foldable, so you can easily store it away when you're not using it. I don't love clutter, so I store mine under my couch with the remote on it. But the best part of the Batteo Couch Arm Tray is the 360° rotating phone holder. This allows you to prop up your phone at any angle, so you can watch videos, read books, or play games while you're relaxing on the couch. I got this for the end of our sectional where there is no console or side table. We don't always use that part of the couch but I wanted something guests could use if they sat on that end. The arm of our couch actually measures larger than what this claims to fit on but since it is stuffed it fit inside the legs of this just fine. I did find a couple issues with this though. The first, if you want to be able to actually reach your drink you have to turn the table around the other way. This means the cell phone holder is useless and I didn't even bother to install it. The second issue is that the outer edges of the whole table could really use some rounding or even sanding. It has a perfectly square edge which isn't actually sharp, but it is not comfortable. Especially for something that is now occupying your arm rest. Considering they rounded the inside edges of the table pockets I know it should be possible. I will probably take some sandpaper to it to at least break the edge. Overall it is a nice tray and holds well, at least on my couch. I just wish they had done some more processing for finish.
