Oh YES, you know usually bath n body works scents/lotions over the past few years have become plastic or chemical smelling, no matter if its for a man or woman, it either gives you or your partner or friends a raging headache or drys down to some weird sort of plastic/ chemical base smell? Not this my friends. If you want a scent in a lotion that is sensual, deep woodsy minus all the moss, not IN YOUR FACE GAG WHAT THE HECK IS HE TRYING TO PROVE with too many high notes that sting your nose, NOT sweet, THIS IS IT. It is a cross between rustic cabins on a fall day, someone smoking a pipe with cherry tobacco, perhaps enjoying a glass of aged bourbon or some butter pecan ice cream, and that sexy southern man on a tractor or pick up truck in his well worn jeans who wants to roll under the sheets with you all night long, but will make his moves slowly and romantically. The sort that still has enough class to put on a dress shirt with his jeans for dinners with the parents or church. This is that scent. Its mellow, but noticeable. It's rich in flavor, yet subtle. There is a hint of spice but NOTHING like OLD Spice and your nostrils won't feel like they were hit with a swarm of stinging bees. There is a lot of smokey wood flavoring with just enough sweetness to turn your head, but not enough sweetness to make you doubt that the man that is wearing it is ALL MAN. This is a middle-aged to older man scent, though I am sure a sexy younger boy could pull it off, still, I would call it a mature-30+ scent. And more of a fall/winter scent than spring or summer. And for the sake of the day and age we live in, I would have to say that SOME women could easily pull off wearing this. The outdoorsy type, the tomboy, or the lady of power in a business suit who grows tired of the same old -choke on a floral bouquet or drown in melon and cucumbers or roll in sugar vanillas-, type. It's not SO 100% masculine that a woman of strong or earthy ways could not pull off wearing it, ascould the woman who wants to have the smell effect while reading some epic romance novel. I would call the scent both sensual, yet calming. The man who wraps his arms around you wearing this feels self-confident but is not some bold loud mouth, rather he is the type to nibble and take his time. If you want subtle, yet sexy, think -that man that just stares at you, maybe smiles but doesn't say much, looking sexy in his old blue jeans, that is this scent. It drys down to not be overwhelming in any way but it's THERE. Goes well with any woodsy cologne or aftershave, though by itself its very nice. A SUPERB cuddle me close scent. I have not sweat tested it, but in the home environment, it seems to be lasting, but NOT overpowering in any way, its an up close scent after its dried down, with just some relaxing hints of very subtle manly vanilla after its been on awhile-its NOT vanilla at all, but it mellows to that, you will NOT become the walking air freshener, but rather the subtle oooh that smells so good I want to crawl in your lap and sniff you all over, person. It does leave the skin smooth but if it is smoothness you are wanting over scent,no. I found it to be a wee tad sticky for about an hour after applying, nothing to write home about but there are much better lotions if you want smooth. I just discovered this, I see that there is a cologne to match but it is price prohibitive being $100+ for just a tiny bottle. And according to other reviews, this whole line is discontinued, even the lotion. Typical BnBW, they get something right and then discontinue it. MUST GET MORE NOW! I want this scent in a laundry detergent! If you like how I have tried to describe this, as trying to put a scent into words and feelings, then I am sure you will not be disappointed! Also packaged very well for shipping in a sealed plastic bag with a shrink wrap sort of factory wrap around the ENTIRE bottle and cap. That's an extra plus in my book! ... show more

Every morning I wear this stuff I get a compliment from a co worker. It has a fresh out of the shower sort of scent that appeals to both males and females. It’s marketed for men both I believe the scent is unisex. It’s only flaw is it doesn’t last throughout the day, but if it did the scent would probably be too strong and perfumey. ... show more

I like the price I got them for. Bath and Body works discontinued the item, but I liked it. The scent and moisturizing effect is what I have been missing. I'm glad to have found some more. I will have to use it sparingly. No telling when I can get more at a decent price.

This is great. This is my first time buying/using this lotion. Based on reviews that I saw and the fact that it's part of a discontinued line, I bought two in hopes that I would like it. I was not disappointed. The smell is not overwhelming, in fact I wish it was a little stronger, but it does last most of the day. Now if you're being very active throughout the day and start perspiring, I wouldn't expect the smell to last as long obviously. I can't wait until the other B&BW lotions with different odors show up. I hope they're just as good, if not better. I forgot to mention that this lotion does not leave an oily, greasy or heavy feel on your skin, which is important to me as I don't like putting clothes on right after using an oily, greasy or heavy lotion as it feels like the clothes are sticking to me. ... show more

Ladies love the smell and i got asked by guys all the time where I got it. And you know you smell good when you hug a woman and you hear her moan mmm. Under her breath. Does last long but you do have to but a couple layers on in the morning last all day but on hands it does come off after one wash unlock coco butter lotion but I have been wearing this since 2008 or so after I met my now ex-wife. I am a white male and all my black friends wear it and I know why last very long and the smell last all day and when you wake up still smells nice. ... show more

It’s a good lotion and all, but the price man... the first time I bought it it was like 10 or 12 bucks. It’s way too expensive now! I would recommend to wait and see if the price drops before buying this again. 5 star lotion but the price killed it:( 100% price increase? Nah
