This is a beautiful quilt in a lovely, subdued shade of teal blue. It is stitched, not heat sealed. The shams fit perfectly with no gapping. It does not go to the floor on my queen bed as shown in the photo, but it does cover the mattress down to the top of the dust ruffle on both sides and is plenty long also. It is very functional and truly all season, because it is lightweight and should be perfect for summer with just a sheet, and also for winter with a blanket under it. The fabric is soft, and washed and dried perfectly with no wrinkles, so it is very easy care. I think this is a very classy looking quilt, especially for the price. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

First impressions: Prompt delivery. Excellent packaging. No loose threads. Quick trial placement on the bed suggested online dimensions were accurate. Quilt is reversible, though the sides (that is, the drop) appear similar but not quite identical. Laundering: Although the quilt had no chemical smell, I decided to launder it before using it. Because it is too heavy for our washing machine, I opted for the Cold-Blankets setting on a large commercial machine at a local laundromat. No loose threads after washing. In the laundromat stack dryer, I first selected low heat. After 25 minutes, there was too little progress on drying, and I changed to the medium heat setting until the quilt was only slightly damp in spots. I finished the drying at home—a mistake. The Oversized King is too large to dry evenly in a small home dryer. Perhaps air drying on a flat surface would work better at home. Color: I wanted off-white, not bright white. But I ordered this based on a previous reviewer’s comments. In our bedroom, the bright white blends with off-white tones, though it is bright. En route to the laundromat, in natural light, I realized it is VERY bright white. So lighting matters. In our bedroom, it works fine with a Wayfair bed bench that Wayfair describes as off-white. However, as shown in photo, the quilt is definitely a brighter white than the bench. Size: Despite the medium heat, quilt does not appear to have shrunk noticeably. Sides are long enough to cover two Twin XL adjustable bases with deep Saatva mattresses. Pillow shams easily accommodate King down feather pillows. Overall: We could not be happier with this purchase. Such an improvement over our worn coverlet. At the reduced price, this is a good value.

I would not describe this bedspread as oversized. I can get the peaks on the end of the bedspread to match the photograph from the angle of the foot of the bed in the Amazon listing (i.e., a few inches off the floor); however, the sides are several inches higher off the floor. It's not a deal breaker. I was simply hoping it would cover more of the storage space under the bed. I suppose I'll have to move the storage elsewhere. The set is very pretty and I like the weight. It was much easier to get out of the washer into the dryer than my old one was, due to the old one's weight and size (chenille, and it "puddled" or rather "flooded" onto the floor). That makes me happy. The bedspread came out of the dryer fairly wrinkle-free.

We love nice bedding but are angsty about taking comforters to dry clean. We were searching for a well constructed washable cotton quilt to try, preferably one wide enough to drop to the floor. I measured the sides to calculate dimensions, since there is so much variation in mattress/bed frame height. This is the only quilt set I found with 1) good quality, 2) versatile colors, 3)100% cotton, 4) the right dimensions. After washing, the Marcielo king size 118" width worked perfectly for this queen bed. I ordered bright white, which has a beautifully worked leaf pattern that gives the appearance of matelasse. The quilt is great for layering so it should be easy to change the look up by season or just because. Due to quality of materials and construction, it has a comfortable weight to it, and would easily be suitable for year round use. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I love the new bed quilt. While I agree with others that it isn't actually beige, I like it more than a beige. It is a very creamy color which works perfect in our bedroom. The pattern and finish are the same on each side so I can reverse it if need be. I have not pre-washed it as I did not feel the need to. It is large and I will not be able to fit in home washer. I measured my bed carefully and knew exactly where I needed it to drop so I ordered the perfect size. Our bed frame has nicely designed siderails that I want to show so I chose a size to tuck a bit in. The edge pattern is the same on all 4 sides allowing me to put it sideways. I don't know what others are talking about when mentioning an odor. I have an extremely sensitive sniffer and took a big whiff as I opened the wrapping, nothing! There are no stains, no loose threads, just a very comfortable cotton quilt. A few were upset that there was some polyester but it was only 7% of the filling! Both sided 100% cotton and filling 93% cotton. Now my body can breathe and not get overheated when I sleep. It is just the right thickness and perfect amount of warmth. Right now we do have a lightweight cotton blanket under it. We live in Florida and the nights/early mornings have been chilly but the blanket will come off soon and the quilt alone will be perfect.
