There’s not much to say other than this wood does exactly what it should. The sheets were all true 12x12, cleanly cut, and perfectly flat when they arrived — no warping, no chipping, no rough edges. It engraved evenly in my laser cutter with consistent results across all pieces. I appreciate that the packaging actually protects the wood (no corners bent or cracked), and the finish is smooth enough that I didn’t have to sand before engraving. It’s nice to buy a basic material that’s exactly as described. Reliable, consistent, and ready to use right out of the box.

Used to get familiar with my new engraver. Nice smooth finish and good grain ensured the that of my 99 newbie problems, my wood wasn't one No warping with 10w laser, easy to work with and my goodness does it smell great while the engraving is in progress The photo included is meant to show how well the wood did it's job, the engraver operator still has some learning to do

I got these for miniature making, and I was not disappointed. They are beautifully packaged with no warping or splintering. There is a visible line on each piece I received where they joined pieces together during production, but when I tried to bend the piece to see if it would snap, it held tight. I wanted to see how they cut, so I tried cutting it with a craft knife, a utility knife, a regular pair of scissors, and a crappy pair of miter shears. The craft knife worked, but took several passes to cut through the entire thing. The miter shears were overkill for the tiny piece I was working with, but handled nicely. The scissors were terrible, and I ended up with my piece falling apart in layers. The utility knife was the clear winner here, but required several passes, much like the craft knife. I am including a picture of the sample piece I cut. The top edge was cut with the utility knife, and looks great. The side I cut with the admittedly not great pair of scissors frayed a little. I honestly think this is due to the poor quality of the scissors and not the basswood. All in all, I would highly recommend this. This is a top-quality product and what you would use when you want a guarantee that your projects will go smoothly.

Sheet goods cut well with my laser and the product was packaged well for shipment. Boards were wrapped in plastic for protection which keep them damage free before use. Overall I'd consider exploring other thicknesses and products from this company. Would order again and I think they are of decent quality for the price. I also really like that they come in squares- allows me to use them more efficiently in my laser bed without much extra waste.

Those of us who enjoy making miniatures will love this product. Three 12x12” sheets of basswood are included in a finely contained package that keeps moisture and other problems off the wood. Primarily it prevents warping and dust/dirt. Each sheet is triple layered, not stating what is in the middle material. Those who use CO2-laser and CNC machines would know. The top and bottom layers are pure basswood. From observation, the wood is clean, without cracks, blemishes and cutting blade scars or burns. There are no thermal paper code labels on the product to leave a layer of adhesive behind which is difficult to remove. Craftkers does it right - no problems here. The product can be used by manual crafters using the right tools. The wood looks like it is top-shelf. This wood has a beautiful, clear grain for those who do not want to cover it with paint.

The media could not be loaded. Today I'm reviewing this 3-pack of Basswood sheets, These are rated at 12x12 inches by 1/8th inch thick. We'll go ahead and take a look at the quality of these. They arrive bundled together and they look to be extremely flat. I'm not seeing any kind of warping or anything on these sheets. Looking at these sheets the finish on them is not very shiny and the top sheet has a nice grain to it, almost like a burl to it which looks really cool. Looking at all three sheets they all look equally high quality with no gaps or anything. Looking from the edge this looks to be all wood (veneers) and doesn't seem to be particle board in the middle. The edges look very nice and you can see that they are laser cut. If we measure these I'm seeing exactly 12 inches in both dimensions, so very accurate. And we'll look at the thickness with a digital caliper and it is spot on right at 1/8th of an inch, so highly accurate dimensions. This has been great plywood and it cuts very nicely on a 60-watt CO2 laser. I have no complaints about this at all. I'm going to rate these five out of five stars. Pros - Dimensionally accurate to listing (12x12 inches and 1/8th inch thick) - Nice grain patterns - Appears to be all veneer plys - Cuts cleanly on CO2 laser Cons - Nothing so far

Great quality, easy to engrave and cut. My only wish is that there were a couple more pieces for the price point its listed at. The wood is nice and flat; I didn't have to press it out before putting it in the laser machine. Very minimal burning output during the laser process as well - not too strong of an odor when burning. Would definitely buy more in order to complete more projects; it even took black paint like a champ without streaks.

I ordered these thinking it was the car model , but these are just plain plywood sheets. They may be fine for hobbies, but the product image is misleading.
