It was good to play Ms Pacman again! I just wish that it wasn't so difficult to navigate the corners, unlike the big Pacman console. I also wish that they made it easier to determine when the ghosts are no longer vulnerable. I discovered by accident that you can pause it by turning it off in the middle of the game and it gives you time to plot your moves which makes up for the disadvantages of not always knowing when the ghosts are vulnerable and the difficulty in making turns. Was a present to my sister and she likes it for something to do while she sits at the Dr. or waiting somewhere long. It's really good in the dark not so much in bright daylight. It keeps losing the high score so she writes down her score when it's high.

    • This is a remake of what an early 80's hand held Ms. Pacman would be, Don't expect more, its great.
This is re-imagining of an early 80's VFD ( vacuum florescent display) hand held MS. Pacman. And as such it is a treasure! The game is very playable, and the mazes change just like the arcade game. You even get intermissions after 2, 3, and 4 screens. This is a collectible VFD hand held arcade game , if you want a clone of MS. Pacman there are many out there. If you want some fun nostalgia, get this you will not be sorry! ... show more

    • What Game is This?
I bought this as part of collection of presents for my son's 11th bday. It certainly isn't Ms. Pac-Man. The device itself is great and looks like a miniature, classic arcade cabinet. The audio quality is also good. But that's where the positives end... the game itself is a hot-mess. The graphics look nothing like Ms. Pac-man: ghosts show up as glitchy outlines, Ms. Pac-Man never orients when she turns -- her mouth remains facing the same direction regardless of which way she turns. Fortunately, my son isn't familiar with what the original Ms. Pac-Man looked and played like, so he's enjoying this so far. But it will be rude awakening if he plays the real thing someday or looks it up online...which should be any moment now (bracing for it). ... show more
