    • Works Great As A Laptop Charger

I bought this to use as a backup charger for a laptop. I also purchased a USB-C to HP-"Blue"-DC plug to complete the package. It works great, better than expected. I discharged the internal laptop battery down to 15% and then plugged in this charger. I used the laptop the entire time for various things, but keeping the screen on constantly and ran some background utilities to ensure the CPU would not drop below 50% the entire time. After 2.5 hours this charger had discharged completely, and my internal battery was charged up to 55%. I typically get around 6 hours of battery life from the internal laptop battery, so this extended that over 75% (with this test I got almost 11 hours out of it). All of that said, there are some limitations that I wish I knew ahead of time. I can't do pass-through charging with this, making it not usable as a UPS. When I have it plugged in to charge, it won't also output enough power to charge the laptop. I haven't done in-depth voltage/output checks to determine why, just the basic plugged it into the wall and plugged the USB-C into the laptop, and the charger wouldn't power the laptop. The other limitation is similar in that I couldn't power the laptop AND use the USB-A chargers at the same time. Again, nothing in depth on why yet, but I assume the output on the USB-C needs all of the juice to achieve the 65w, so any other discharge lowers that enough that the laptop isn't ok with the level of energy provided. Even after knowing both of those issues, I highly recommend this for the price and capabilities. While I certainly would like this to have more capacity, there's always a balance between size/weight and mobility with these things and this strikes a good balance for the price. ... show more

The initial Power Bank I received did not charge. It blinked at 0, hours after continues charging. The Volts and amps coming in registers but no charge. Once it's unplugged the screen goes blank and power button does nothing. Several review videos say the same thing but then the replacement works, which is what happened to me. The replacement I received is working as intended and even powers my Canon XA-60 camcorder. Customer service also followed up with me separately from Amazon. They do recommend that the charger used be at least 9V/12V. Makes me wish it came with one since a lot of devices and previous power banks I've owned charge fine with lower. ... show more

My several years old Ravpower 20,000mah power bank spanked this Baseus all the way back into its box and back to the seller. Yeah after getting one of those useful usb testers that came with the amazingly helpful 1A, 2A, or 3A load device, I started off testing my old Ravpower power bank advertised as the same mah as this Baseus power bank. The Ravpower surprisingly still has most of its advertised capacity after over 5 years of occasional use. I’ve been testing every power bank I bring in and they all lie (even when you consider the 3.7v to 5v conversion and power losses) pretty much, but this Baseus is advertising this as about 2x the actual mah capacity. I can’t stand the growing trend of inflated specs. I returned it and was happy to do it. I bought a couple of power banks that were also advertised as more than they really are (advertised as 30,000mah 3.7v but really are about 20,000 mah at the most), but at a much better price than this Baseus, even considering I got the Baseus on a lightning deal for $37.49 before tax. Bigger and heavier yes, but tested and confirmed do wireless charging, 60w pd 3.0 with its 1 type C in and out port, has a nice bright LED light with multiple functions, 2 USB A QC 3.0 ports max 18w for each, and it apparently can supply max wattage through all the USB ports as well as the 15w wireless charging all simultaneously. I won’t be able to confirm the exact speed of the wireless charging but will test to confirm if it can output 96w (plus the 15w wireless charging) through all USB ports simultaneously once I get a couple more usb testers to test all at once. I will update this review. I haven’t tested the DC output which can change voltages labeled as 8.4V/3A, 12V/3A, and 15V/3A. HSL was the brand name listed here on Amazon but on the unit itself the model number is sy-k682 and the manufacturer DongGuan Kiri Technology Co. The wireless charging worked real well for me but couldn’t confirm 15w even with my android phone that can charge that fast but let’s just say I didn’t notice it to be any slower than my fastest wireless charger. I’m happy with how quickly it charges a laptop. The one singular good thing about this Baseus power bank is that it does do 65w out and 60w in. That just wasn’t enough for me considering the capacity wasn’t even close to 20,000mah. ... show more
