I purchased the BASENOR Glass Roof Sunshades for my Tesla Model 3, and I'm extremely happy with the quality and fit. Installation was quick and easy, and they fit the glass roof perfectly without any gaps or sagging. I already have ceramic tint throughout, but these sunshades made a noticeable difference in keeping the interior cooler, especially during the Texas heat. The reduction in heat coming through the roof is impressive and helps make the cabin much more comfortable when the car has been parked outside. My plan is to use them during the hot summer months and remove them during the spring and fall when they're not needed. They're lightweight, easy to store, and well worth the investment. I live in Southern California, summer is coming. So far, it is only hit mid 90s, but I can tell you even in the 80s driving around with no shade with the air conditioning on the air may be cool in the cabin, but the direct sunlight causes radiant heat, especially off of a black dashboard. fill your dashboard and you will see some of the heat is coming from you can’t drive around with your windshield covered so that is a factor. A lot of these are complaining that it doesn’t keep the heat out. It is meant to keep the sun light out and reflect as much of the radiant heat as possible. What color is your car? Did you buy a black car? You just bought a heat absorber. Your surface temperature on that metal is going to be about 160° in the summer versus a white Tesla will be about 130° surface temperature go touch a black car in the summer and you’ll see what I mean. What color is your interior? Did you white? I guarantee you a white interior is much cooler than a black interior because when the sun cooks that black dashboard creates radiant heat with those black leather seats. Now, if you do like I did, you have the shades in place with the reflectors you have your windows tinted front and back although illegal you will notice about a 60% difference in radiant heat. Your car will stay cooler and you won’t have a headache driving around all day with direct sunlight cooking your head, does it keep your car nice and cool like an apartment with the shades drawn of course not you’re asking too much and that’s ridiculous. Does it make a noticeable difference some people just too much for very little money I do have an odd thing to say is that I have a funny smell in my car now and I’m not sure if it’s from this Installation I hope not ... show more

These shades do exactly what they claim — they block out the sun and make a big difference. Installation was quick and easy, about 15 minutes for both front and back. They’re clearly labeled, and the clips attach easily to the frame (though a couple more would make the fit even tighter). The color matches nicely, and once installed, it looks like it came with the car. The material feels durable and high-quality — it’s built to last. They fold up nicely, and the included case is a great bonus that fits perfectly in the sub trunk. I tested it on a 2.5-hour South Texas road trip and saw about an 8–10° difference compared to my Tesla without the shade. The car stayed noticeably cooler. If you commute often, have kids, or carry backseat passengers, this is a must-have. ... show more

    • Does not fit 2022+ Model S !!!

Says it fits 2022 Tesla Model S , but it does not ! I am Sure it fits the split roof glass models pre2021, but not the new full glass . This had no label of front or rear on each section , so I tried it both ways. Although the front did fit, the Rear section is not the correct shape. It was approximately 3/4inch to 1inch too long. Plus it was rectangular and not curved to the rooflines. I Should have listen to the reviews that said it did not fit my car , I assume now the people who say it did fit got the right parts , or had a hand in the launch of this product but never owned it ? Anyway it’s very disappointing and will just try to get something direct from Tesla. I am so over Amazon sellers right now ! Returned the item and this seller refunded for the wrong item . I also purchased a cabin filter , which works great . AC is soooo cold now . But dang . Can’t get the billing or products strait . I see some recent reviews that fit , so thankfully someone out there got the right unit . ... show more

I bought these instead of the official Tesla sunshades to save some money and they work in the sense that they block the sun and keep the cabin cooler which is really all you need them to do, so on a functional level I have no real complaints. The fit though is the thing, they cover the glass roof well enough but the edges don't hug the frame the way the Tesla ones do and there's a little bit of adjusting and fussing every time you put them up to get them sitting right which gets old pretty fast. The material feels fine, not flimsy, and they fold up and store without issue so the actual build quality is acceptable for what you paid. But if you've ever seen the official Tesla sunshades sitting perfectly against the glass with clean edges all the way around you'll understand why the small gaps and the slight misalignment on these is kind of annoying, it's one of those things where the difference in quality is visible every single time you use them. The price gap between these and the Tesla ones isn't big enough to justify the compromise. Just spend the extra money and get the ones that were actually made by Tesla, that's what I ended up doing. ... show more

Just got our first Tesla and couldn't be happier with it. The only issue was baking in the sun while we drove or when parked. (Yes, you can leave the AC on but you're still sitting in the automotive version of an EZ Bake Oven) Ordered these as a frugal/thrifty alternative to the Tesla branded version because, well, I'm thrifty/frugal. They arrived quickly and I was able to watch a couple of short videos and installed them in less than 10 minutes. Ridiculously simple. I haven't driven with the windows down but they are staying in place perfectly and appear to be well-made and durable for a fabric. I can't compare them to another brand or maker but I can say I completely recommend these. ... show more
