I purchased the BASENOR Glass Roof Sunshades for my Tesla Model 3, and I'm extremely happy with the quality and fit. Installation was quick and easy, and they fit the glass roof perfectly without any gaps or sagging. I already have ceramic tint throughout, but these sunshades made a noticeable difference in keeping the interior cooler, especially during the Texas heat. The reduction in heat coming through the roof is impressive and helps make the cabin much more comfortable when the car has been parked outside. My plan is to use them during the hot summer months and remove them during the spring and fall when they're not needed. They're lightweight, easy to store, and well worth the investment. These shades do exactly what they claim — they block out the sun and make a big difference. Installation was quick and easy, about 15 minutes for both front and back. They’re clearly labeled, and the clips attach easily to the frame (though a couple more would make the fit even tighter). The color matches nicely, and once installed, it looks like it came with the car. The material feels durable and high-quality — it’s built to last. They fold up nicely, and the included case is a great bonus that fits perfectly in the sub trunk. I tested it on a 2.5-hour South Texas road trip and saw about an 8–10° difference compared to my Tesla without the shade. The car stayed noticeably cooler. If you commute often, have kids, or carry backseat passengers, this is a must-have. ... show more

I had the glass roof in the Model S tinted even darker with XPEL tint, but on sunny days I still found myself basically sitting in the sun. On long trips I would even wear a hat to cut down on the glare on my sunglasses. After getting the Basenor, I put the front half in first and left it that way for a week or two. It fit very well and installed easy. And I LOVED sitting in actual shade like a normal car. I considered never putting the rear half in, but I eventually did. It didn't fit as well and didn't go in as well, but it is acceptable to me. There are virtually NO instruction for install, which was a minor issue. A simple sheet with a few tips on telling the front half from the rear half, and tips on how to use the clips would be nice. The front half vs the rear half is not marked, but if you study them for a moment, you will notice the more squared off one goes in the rear. The rear doesn't fit as snug/perfect, and use of the clips is a bit of winging it. I would buy it again. ... show more

    • Gives shade - does NOT keep temperature down in the car
Ordered this product based on the encouraging reviews on Amazon. We live in Southern California and I was looking for a way to keep the inside of the car to a lower temperature. At work the car is sitting in the blistering sun and based on the reviews I was hoping to keep the temperature lower. After several days of testing I can state that the product does not help. Installing the mesh with or without the reflective silver liner - no change The only observation I can state - delay in temperature rise in the car. Noteworthy with the silver liner installed the front shade starts hanging down in the center area On the actual product quality and fit for what I received Overall the quality of the materials is acceptable Fit onto my 2020 Model 3 - front cover fits perfectly and stays in place with no problems Back Cover definitely needs some work, slides down or falls down. Definitely a bit too long to look good while installed. Three of the install clips came damaged in the in the bag - unusable For this reason I was never able to install both shades at the same time while driving. Only when parked to see if it makes a difference for the heat rise in the car. Wondering where you can buy additional clips or if you need to return for replacement Last but not least would I purchase again - probably not because the benefits are minimal. Says it fits 2022 Tesla Model S , but it does not ! I am Sure it fits the split roof glass models pre2021, but not the new full glass . This had no label of front or rear on each section , so I tried it both ways. Although the front did fit, the Rear section is not the correct shape. It was approximately 3/4inch to 1inch too long. Plus it was rectangular and not curved to the rooflines. I Should have listen to the reviews that said it did not fit my car , I assume now the people who say it did fit got the right parts , or had a hand in the launch of this product but never owned it ? Anyway it’s very disappointing and will just try to get something direct from Tesla. I am so over Amazon sellers right now ! Returned the item and this seller refunded for the wrong item . I also purchased a cabin filter , which works great . AC is soooo cold now . But dang . Can’t get the billing or products strait . I see some recent reviews that fit , so thankfully someone out there got the right unit . ... show more

Following a brief review of 2-minute DIY YouTube demos (no instructions included) installation was simple and took less than 10 minutes. The foldability makes it compact for storage and installation. The outward facing silver side deflects the sun while the interior facing light gray finish keeps the cabin from feeling too dark. When choosing this product I prioritized regulating the cabin temperature over the beautiful panoramic sunroof views in preparation for the rising temperatures of the summer.
